We have 3 that have not posted mileage. 2 have none to submit (one of those is sick so I can see that), and one still has no goal set, so do not know how that works being it is a third into the challenge. Everyone else seems to be doing fine. Keep up the good work!
Here's a suggestion for handling your "absentee" team members.
1
) Leave some inspires for them.
(This can be multiple people.
)
2
) One person should also PM them.
(Just one person is sufficient for this. More than that, and it's like harassment.
)
My reasoning - some people are new to BT and/or the challenges. I think we should try to get them involved, and help them if they aren't sure how to log training, etc.
If you don't hear from them by the next deadline for the spreadsheets
(Feb 16th
), check their training logs.
a
) If they've recorded some mileage on the BT logs, just update the spreadsheet.
b
) If they still have no training recorded on their BT logs, let me know. At this point, it's my opinion that you made a read effort to track them down and get them involved..... If they aren't replying and haven't logged any training by the 16th, we can just drop them from the roster.
Does this sound reasonable? I've suggested the above "procedure" in past challenges to teams with "missing" members. Sometimes, it was a matter of people not understanding the rules, or of not knowing how to use the BT logs, or they couldn't find the team thread, etc. So, in my opinion, it's worth trying to track them down.
Let me know what happens.
(I try to keep track of all the teams during the week. But if I miss it, someone can post it on the Team Leader's thread.
)
Thanks!
Dee
