Still not feeling great today, but I'm on the board with a 1 hour swim. Happy training everyone!

Doc yelled at me yesterday for riding the bike. So I will be a good girl until the weekend and not do any training. I'm working on a foot with PF. It has been a pain in the ---! But, I was told about this miracle doctor and I have gone for 4 treatments and it is working. So, I will be a good girl and listen to him. Luckily I gave myself low goals this month because of the PF.

So Until I can work out, I'll just talk to all of you. Oh, yeah, you are all working out. So I will talk to myself. LOL

Well I am on the board....my broken leg did not want to pedal the bike this morning, so I forced it for 30 min before I decided I do not like pain. Had a good weight lifting set yesterday, have not got to do that for awhile, and I am paying for it! I am leaving this afternoon for the weekend, so I will be unable to log friday and saturday. I will be getting lots of swimming in as we are going to the hotsprings, they have a huge pool so I can do PT there. Off to work for a couple of hours, maybe...I may get there and decide not to play. See ya!

I think it is [email protected] and then challengeforum for the password. If you click on the spreadsheet link at the top of any of our tables, that should bring your right into the spread. HTH

Note about challenge goals: Please have your goals finalized and in the spreadsheets by the end of Friday, April 4th.  For international people, end of US' Friday.  After that, goals can be increased at any time without permission, but cannot be decreased except in case of severe illness, injury, or other emergency.

You can also share it with yourself if you already use google mail or google docs.  You'll have to log in as '[email protected]' the first time, then go to the share tab, and enter your email address as a collaborator.  That way you don't have to switch logins.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been missing for the last couple of days but we've had some pretty wild weather here and the Internet and Cable TV has been down.

It's just been restored so this is just a quick note as I now have to take my son to a birthday party but I have been training and I will up date my logs and spreadsheet soon.

Hi everyone,

I went to the bike/run portion of my tri clinic tonight, and it kicked my butt. We did a 30 min spin and then went for a run outside. Some of the group turned around at the 1 mile mark for a 2 mile run, but a few of us went on and did the 3.5 mile loop. The people I was with had a faster pace than me, so it was like doing speed work keeping up with them. I did though and averaged 8.5 min miles for the run, which is really fast for me. Think I might be sore tomorrow.

Here it is Friday and my avg completion is like 8 %, a little behind the days of the month.  If the weekend goes as planned, I should rectify that.

I did another 60 minutes on the trainer today but I'm still under for the month also. my son goes back to school next week so things should improve.

I managed a 30 min run also yesterday. I was supposed to do an hour with a running group before my family gets up but my DH got a call to work so that ruined my plans for the day. I had to sneak in a run on his break so he could mind my son. Next week will be easier.

Ah, those were the days . . . . the days when I weighed 230 pounds! What a blessing that you can train, even with young child(ren) in the home. It was 13 years before I got to go back to regular exercise, as DH works very long hours. (Not blaming, just sayin')
