Alright Max what the heck did you do to drop that much??? I'm 179 and want to be at around 160. Is it or was it the Tri training?? or diet as well?....YOU GOTTA TELL ME MAN...haha. just kidding...you look Amazing and would love to know your secret
I can give you my thoughts. I didn't have a lot of weight to drop, but I've ditched the last few pounds recently and I'm not too strict on my diet.
1 ) I try to eat in The Zone. I admit that I have cheat meals, but it doesn't affect me too badly. The increase in muscle mass (see #2 ) helps. I try to eat more fruits and vegetables, and less processed foods. I also drink 3/4 of a gallon of water daily.
2 ) I do Crossfit, albiet only 4 days a week. It's constantly varied, intense workouts in a relatively short time frame.
3 ) I've eased way back on my mileage and have spent more time doing explosive, interval training. Recently, I've done group training at my local gym in lieu of running. I'm able to maintain a higher intensity over a longer period of time. The program we have is the Les Mills series. I mainly do Body Attack and Body Combat.
These principles work for the people I know who've tried it. It takes time, but they're solid.
Keep up the good work everyone. You look great! |
