Artemis - 2008-06-25 8:42 AM Beth, you have 13,000 posts! Congrats! I missed that.
I don't think she celebrates unless it is divisible by 5000. LOL

It's a small one.  I get excited over the ones divisible by 1000.

MOrnin' Nibbs....

Lots of work today... one day I shall train again... perhaps I need to commit myself to a race to get *** in gear.

Hope everyone has a great hump day!!!! I'm getting excited for a weekend of NOTHING planned!!!!!

the only thing that's keeping me going right now is the challenge

I am thinking about signing up for a sprint at the end of July - it's the Cornhusker State Games - it's the first tri I ever participated in

it's inexpensive ($40), relatively close to home and I think I'll be home that weekend

Sounds convenient and economical, that makes for a winner right there.  Besides, this may be the last time that those two factors would be in play for your "first ever tri".  You should REALLY consider it.  Wouldn't be interesting to have the time to compare?

Don't blame me! At this hour, I was finally getting some sleep after the 10 year old boys finally konked out. I feel like zombie-mom right now, LOL.

hehe!  I saw that but was waiting to see if any of the correctly or incorrectly identified parties noticed it

I had noticed too, but being one of the guilty parties, I figured I'd just keep quiet.

it would be fun to compare

I was pretty surprised last year I was a minute or two faster than the previous year and I was dealing with PF, I suspect I would have an even better finishing time this year

I couldn't take it anymore - we weren't W.I.D.E.

but there were sooooooooooooooo many pages - LOL

Hi Nibbs!

Old habits die hard

page four already and it's hasn't even been 12 hours yet???

yep... Nibbs are alive and kickin' this week

I swear we always go faster on the first few pages - LOL

Of course, the fact that Beth, Cat and I were the three Nibbs around at the time -- well, that probably helped some.

I'm in your state of training, Heather. I'm not registered for anything the remainder of 2008 and I'm so lazy!!

But you have IMCdA to get ready for. That will keep you busy for most of the year.

And nauseous, too.

Well, I probably won't hit the swim goal. My shoulder has been bothering me. I just posted about it on the Geckos thread.

But I *WILL* hit the other goals.

EDIT:  Oops, I read that wrong...thought she said expensive...Dear, dear Beth...$40 does not an expensive tri make......next month's LTF tri in Minneapolis...$150...I'm registered, but didn't have to pay that...whew...

You are correct, my dear Kristen...it was yellow tri top day that day...too sunny for my black top, and couldn't find the blue top.  Funny...it seems like they only take pics of me when I'm in my yellow tri top...
