And goggle lines on your eyes are fun to have when you show up to work. Not that my August swim totals would indicate that, though. I was quite the slacker. you and me both - I hardly had any purple in my graphs - probably won't this month either oh, and the goggle lines are TOTALLY hot! When they crossed, we all stepped back and looked at each other. Who won? Even the announcers were stunned Then they started yelling "It's a photo finish! We'll let you know, folks." And then the rest of the break crossed. We waited. And then the chase group crossed and we waited some more. Finally "Hamilton has it!"WOw Pam - you werent joking about the photo finish!!! http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2008/aug08/USPRO08/index.php?id=/photos/2008/aug08/USPRO08/USPRO082/1 http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2008/aug08/USPRO08/index.php?id=/photos/2008/aug08/USPRO08/USPRO082/2 Wow! it almost looks like it is the difference in the tires from the pic - I bet it was exciting to be there |

They're growing up so fast. Also, a little stressed right now. Will pop in as I can. Cuties Hope Elder's first day was awesome. It is always easier in the car line knowing they enjoy where they are going. My 16 yo kitty is sick Very sad day for me. Wishing for either a recovery or death. I can't handle taking him to the vet to be put down. Hubby will have to do that if it comes to that. I did it with my kitty when he was 13 and too sick to go on. Lionel is hubby's cat from before we got married. So that is his job. I'm grateful we adopted Oliver. He is a bright spot of fur racing around the house on this dark day. Sorry to hear about your cat Pam - it is so hard when pets get sick |

I like my supervisor much better as a friend and training partner than a boss because he sucks as a boss. Grrrr. uh oh - what did he do now? He called to ask if I wanted to coach WAVE (which I do. I told him that in JULY!). Turns out it starts TODAY!!! He gave me 1 and a half hours notice!!! Just got back from the pool. He sucks at planning and communication. He was like "I know I'm on your list. Sorry." I just laughed and said "Typical." And I told him he sucked as a manager. It's sad cuz I'm not really mad. I'm not surprised. This is how it is. I had such high hopes for him when he first took the position cuz he had told me how he planned to run the department. Too bad he can't turn those plans into actions. He means well but doesn't follow through. On the flip side, how many times can you tell your supervisor he sucks to his face and not get fired? Edited by barqhead 2008-09-02 4:56 PM |
