I typically get to bed between 10-10:30 PM and up at 5 AM for whatever run/swim I can.  Occasionally a drainer ride early on too.

Hmmmm.... I guess I just have to set my alarm clock and get it done.... Isn't there a support group around here for morning workouts? I think I read something somewhere.

Just one more day in the Windy City then it's back to reality Blah. Vacation is so much more fun than reality.

You were almost a neighbor today.  How was the race?  Tony survived?  Didja see Whizzzzz and Trixie?

I met up with Whizzzzz, Trixie, core, Misskelly, startingtotri (? not sure of name, but she was super nice) and two other BTers at the start. I have a nice photo of Tony, Trixie and Whizzzzz, I'll see if I can post it here. Those of us not running spent the morning jockstrapping together until we had to split up to see the various finishers. It was really hot by 10:30 or so, which made me glad I wasn't running. Tony did incredibly well, he finished in 3:48 I think. I was able to fight my way to the finish shoot and got to see him finish. Core said Whizzzzz had a great time and was still happy after her first marathon so it seems like it was a good day all around!

Before you guys start plotting my death because I never run, I am happy to report that my foot hasn't hurt since Saturday so I think it's ready for another try. As soon as I finish the 20 ounces of coffee that are so critical to my day, I'm heading out for a 15-miler along Lake Michigan. I hope I don't get 7 miles away from home and then fall apart and have to walk back!

There is, I think they hold each other accountable for getting up when they have planned to. Unless they came to my apartment and dragged me out of bed, I fear it wouldn't work for me

Ok, hopefully this picture is small enough, if not, the failed attempt will add to our post count. This is Tony, Trixie and Whizzzzz along with Tony's friend Louis right before the race started.

So far I don't even plan to workout in the morning... I am kind of missing the first premises... But in case the new job situation requires it, i probably give it a shot. Seems like this challenge thing is working for me... at least for getting runs in it definitely worked for me this month. :-)

QueenZipp - 2008-10-13 6:19 AM Morning team.  I ran this morning....

Good morning. Great workout already this morning...

May I ask how many hours of sleep you normally get?? I am not a morning person at all, but I probably have to start doing this. I will change jobs within my company in a couple of weeks and I expect things to get more stressful again...

Is it true that these morning workouts really wake you up and kick off your day. Hard to image for me.

I typically get to bed between 10-10:30 PM and up at 5 AM for whatever run/swim I can.  Occasionally a drainer ride early on too.

Must be nice.  I can't get that motivated.  Plus, wifey needs to get up early and get ready, whilst I lay in bed waiting to hear if the kidlets get up.

My kids are in middle and high school...perfectly capable of getting themselves outr the door.  It leaves evenings freeer to keep up things in the house or get a 2 a day done if I get up early.

speaking of local BT peeps... is there some sort of search function to find some local BTler or do I just post something somewhere... for example in the SC forum... why does SC have a forum in the first place?? or do I just see it, because I have that as my location?? questions, questions, question.... and yes....
