HI team! I'm a little off on my training this week because of some viral crud I picked up but hope to get back on track this weekend or next week at the latest.  The story about forgetting your swim stuff reminded me of a story a friend told about her favorite spinning instructor.  I guess this woman was really built and ran a very tough, popular class. My friend told me that about half way through the class the instructor was getting so overheated she decided to ride in just her workout bra and shorts, after stripping off her cycling jersey she realized she was wearing her heart rate monitor but no bra....oops. It seems a few had trouble focusing on their workouts after that!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I bet that there were a bunch of heart rates that rocketed up when that happened. LOL

Oh what a Monday... Time flies when Year's close comes around the corner and says "BOOOHH".

Great work team... I like, how our spreadsheet looks and stop by our team mates that are running a little behind on their goals to inspire them!

What's on everybody's tab for today???

I have a spinning class tonight and depending on how I feel, add a little recovery run to it. Really depends on who is doing the class tonight and how bad we get our butts kicked! LOVE IT!!

Finally starting to feel human again!  Took me longer than normal to get over this chest cold. I did get a short run in yesterday and a bit longer this morning.

Should be able to catch up on the bike fairly easy, the swim shouldn't be a problem assuming the pool (school) stays open.  The run will be a bit of work, but I am confident I can hit that goal as well.  Might just have to go off plan a bit to make up the short fall.

You guys are all doing great!

Good morning!!!! Where is everyone????

@ Paul: The pic is pretty cool! That's great that people take the time to put those signs up, keeps you entertained while running. Do you always have a camera with you on the run???

Did a little tempo run on the treadmill this morning. I think this is going to be my last run before the 5K race on Saturday and I am just hoping that I will be under 30 mins again, even if this course is supposed to be harder than the last one I raced. We will see.

On tab for the rest of the day... work (ARRGHHH - but glad to still have a job), spinning class..... and I think this is it... Piece of cake!

Got another swim in today.  It wasn't a good one, but it counts toward the twelve I am trying to get.  So far I have six.  When I get home I will update the spreadsheet, it is blocked at work.

It was good, I was just running to run.  It's nice not to have any expectations on the race.  I did finally manage to get a RR up.

The humorous crew  were up at 4am putting  all the signs up and chalking the course .  The fastest time for the 10 miles was in the 55 min range !     I did not take the pictures    .  Although  sometimes i wish i HAD a camera , ie

This morning on my morning run the sky had a very painterly quality . In colour and in atmosphere.

Did a speed workout last night .

Got in a swim  with a coach today and immediately dropped 20s on my 100m free time  with hardly a kick !

Can't wait to go try to incorporate the adjustments in my next session.
