aquagirl - 2009-06-01 12:57 PM OK so I have gotten run number 1 done! 10k in the books.
BTW....on the spreadsheet I made my goal in metric, 161 kilometers = a little bit over 100 miles. I am a Canadian girl after all, I did not want to keep converting back and forth!!
This team has more 100+ mile goals than any of the other teams.

They get a bonus then.

I just finished my very first tri ever (a try-a-tri distance) this morning and somehow managed to win the thing (1st of the women, 4th overall) so I guess now I need to gear up for my first sprint on June 21st! Looking forward to getting in some mileage with everyone over the next 30 days.

Do we get any extra bonus points or ice cream just for being Canadian? Because I can help us out there! Unfortunately, I cannot help with the 100 miler tally. That is really incredible!! Good work, Team Trifecta!

Hey folks, glad to be part of Team Trifecta!  I always fall of my running in the summer (can't deal with the heat to well-it's 91 degrees here now!) but a challenge is just what I need to keep me on track.  I want to focus on a couple of Olympic distance tris this year as well as pick up a half marathon or two in the fall.

The heat is a deterent for me as well, we've already had a couple weeks in the 100's but if I have to race in it i guess I better train in it. I'm jealous of those who've already logged some of their goal. Must run tonight after work!
