Cat , new bike~ Trouble with my gears

Back ones? Not changing/ jumping?

Slipping/skipping and occassionally not changing...

Shops taking care of it...they thing its jut the ew cables stretching a bit... it was due for its first service anyway!

Have they shown you how to adjust the cable with the knurled nut at the rear mech?

Im mechanicaly incompetent and they said 'please dont touch anything - bring it in here'

Girls & machinery. I understand

One day I want to build my own bike... from scratch.. maybe using an old school steel frame..

Need to find a mechanically competent friend I think..

My thoughts exactly but with this frame. Carbon. Look at the weight & convert the cost to Aus$. Cheap or what for the price. CHR15's sis. has a British equivalent. But I won't have a red & black frame.

Artemis - 2009-07-09 2:47 PM I don't really understand cricket.  I've had a few people try to explain it and it still doesn't make sense.  How can a game take multiple days?!
And just how long does it take for the TDF to finish Jen? Anyone going to explain Twenty 20 to her.

What?  The Tour is 20 days!?!

Listen, smarty pants, I get that.  It's split up into stages.  I don't really understand cricket.
Twenty 20 is a new style cricket game that's over in a few hours. About the right attention span for you Americans for sporting events.  Tease, tease.  BIG KISS

I think American sporting events are shorter because it's hard to buy that much beer.

I played rugby in high school.  That was long enough!  Can't imagine if the game had been longer.
Damn. I went to the wrong school. I would love to get into a scrum with girls.

Tackling girls is fun too...

Boy does she tease us!

Tackling girls IS fun!  Unfortunately for the guys, I went to an all girls' high school.

Is that $750 US??? That is cheap... even with having to pay the GST because it would come in over $1000 AUS...

Im thinking I might wait and see if I can pick up something more old skool italian... I have lots of time.. since I wouldnt know where to start right now!

Still have to get my De Rosa one day too...

I just found one in our LBS - I have to go back and look at it again but it is old campy and he wants $250 (us) for the frame and parts as is.  Needs a lot of TLC but I think it would be a great winter project for me and my son.

I was thinking of throwing toe straps and racing old school next summer.

Sounds cool! If you get it take a picture and let me know! Would like to see it!

As Sean Kelly says, " A major task. It's a long, long way. Majorly difficult".

Did Lim... stay upright.? Perhaps he left a larger gap than usual!
