Extreme Veteran 549 Cotati, CA | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge morning all- got back late yesterday from an unexpected business trip. Able to stagger over to the gym and get a dreadmill and drainer session in. It's the 4th and I already feel behind. Will get a swim in tonight and back on the bike. Weight (my 4th goal) is falling the body...I actually see the Clydesdale line in my future. Hope everyone has a great day! Kisses everyone jimi |

Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge Hey Kisses! Yesterday destroyed me..haha...I basically got home and went to bed after swimming (yay 9.5hr sleep). Swimming was rough. Had to do this set called "Landslide" which is a 400m pace, 100 ez, 300 pace, 100ez, 200 pace, 100ez, 100 pace, 100ez with you having to speed your pace up every effort. SO I went 400 in 5:48, 300 in 4:16, 200 in 2:48 and 100 in 118. Sort slow, but after the other training I've done this week not too bad? My muscles were basically burning from the first 25 of the 400 :S...yay lactic build up and muscle fatigue...woooo! Also did a run yesterday....Today just swim practice. Talk to you all later. |

Expert 687 Cambridge, MA | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge You guys can have some of my swim mojo if I can have some of yours toward getting my rear on the drainer! Swam 3050yds with Masters last night, but we were preempted by 45 minutes since there was a high school swim meet going on. I didn't get out of there until after 9pm and didn't get dinner till close to 10. Then this morning I decided to meet up with the new multisport group I just joined for the first time at the pool since I've got a work party this eve (meaning no eve workout). So I got to the pool at 6am and did another 2100yds. I was too tired - more mentally, I think - to do the 3000k workout, so just did the intermediate one. So, swimming's probably my true love, but I picked cycling for the challenge since I need to get my butt regularly back on the bike! |

Master 1792 | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge Wow, there's all kinds of mojo running thru these Kisses Great job on the swimming guys!!! I got in a drainer ride last night. I came so close to scrapping it, but I did it. Leg is still tender, but I'm going to try to run 18 miles on it in the morning. If it doesn't break in half...must just be shin splints Hope everyone has a great weekend! |

Expert 1580 Ankeny, Iowa | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge Sorry for being quiet. Worked until 8:30 last night and another busy day in store. Got my run in yesterday and planning a bike tonight. Laying hardwood floors in two rooms tomorrow but will try to get a run in before we get started. It is the first weekend of the challenge - make sure your totals are updated in the spreadsheet so we can have an accurate count when they show the standings. Let's go Kisses... Stacie |

Master 1641 Seattle, California | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge Today is a flex day for me at work. So I've got a nice 3 day weekend. Added to that we are having record temperatures in Victoria so I plan on getting in a few good workouts. I'm headed off for a short run once I finish my coffee and then out for a 2 to 3 hour ride after that. I LOVE flex days |

When you get there it feels great! Wow, congrats! I'm just two weeks into my ~6mo "Athena to Venus Plan"... can't wait to get there. Thanks . I started out at around 235 in August and I'm sitting at 197 as of this morning. 38 pounds in 6 months isn't breaking any records but slowly I'm getting there. |

Master 1641 Seattle, California | Subject: RE: Kisses - February Challenge Run and Bike are done for the day. I cut the bike a little shorter then I was planning but it was just so windy and I was not having any fun. It's to early in the season to use up the mental energy it takes to finish a miserable workout. On the plus side it's 11:35 and all my workouts are done for the day . |
