Would anybody be interested in a BT group get together?  

Let's see a show of hands. 

If the intended get-together is a few days b/4 the race for a practice swim followed by a few drinks, then I'm waiving my hand.

I'm only in if there will be melon presses.

If I can swing it, I'm all in for a get-together.  It'll be tight for me as I'll be coming up just the afternoon before.  (I'll probably come up on Thursday just to get my packet and then drive back home.)  But I'll keep an eye out for everyone!

Alright then! I'm willing to compromise. A post-swim it is (beer first then swim).

Not sure about getting away from the family for a get together but I'm definitely in for the swim!

Yes, assuming us mere halfers are invited, I'd be interested in both a swim and, more importantly, beer afterward.

Ok! So there seems to be interest in a get together.  

So..........I was thinking a dinner full of tons of carbs........anybody got a clue where a good choice would be? 
And yes beer is carbs. Best carbs I know of actually. Actually had the BEST bike split of my life after consuming, er, MUCH carbs in this lovely liquid form the night before.....


And Friday? How does that sound?

Swimmy Friday morning about the same time as the tri will be. Fri afternoon works for me.

Yeah, I'm a wimp, I go to bed early and get up early.

I'll put up my mum (who lives in Wilmington) to see where she thinks we could have a big group for a lunch.

You North Carolina folks rock! Consider me (& maybe my non-tri wife too) in!
