Master 1315 Shreveport, LA | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer Goals Tania - 2005-07-07 3:07 PM How we doin' today, compadres? Anybody need a boost? I have a 4 mile run scheduled for tonight, shouldn't be too hard to get out there, it's a beautiful day. What's on everyone else's plate? I did a 3.3 mile run this morning and have a 25-40 minute swim planned for tonight. I am itching to get my bike back from the shop so I can ride Saturday. I got this website from another thread today. It is an awesome tool to calculate distance for routes that you normally don't run. I used it to calculate distances that I ran in a park and it was nice being able to get that distance. Here is the link. http://www.sueandpaul.com/gmapPedometer/ If you switch from map to satellite mode, you can see a lot of detail of your run. Good training to everyone. |

Elite Veteran 781 | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer--July Challenge Whoo Hoo! Good luck to Kepola and Vapor Trail who are both racing on Saturday. Have Fun! Mandi, thank you so much for keeping us organized (or organised for Kepola). I don't know how to do all of that fancy stuff, so thanks! So, Team Endless Summer, keep on swimming, biking and running! Sounds like you are doing great. I'll collect totals on Sunday evening. This will be new for me as I've never used the logs, but if I can't figure it out, I'll ask you to post your updates here. |

Elite Veteran 781 | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer--July Challenge Yep, I just keep taking the law into my own hands round here. I just invited emtri to join our team over on the orphan thread. S/he expressed a desire to join our team. Who am I to stand in the way of people's dreams? If Renee hasn't taken to drinking heavily over volunteering to monitor this month's (out of control, but in a good way) challenge, we have a new team member. Please welcome and support emtri. I've asked if s/he is good a killing ducks, but no response yet. The local Hazmat team has checked this place and has declared that we're clean of duck waste. I know y'all are working hard this month--you have the goals and races to prove it. Until further notice, massages are on me. I'd buy you drinks, but let's save those for when we go on beercation this fall. Kepola, this would be guinessholiday for you. Or would that be guinessbankholiday? I'm hopeless with the nuances of other languages. Vamanos!! |

Veteran 221 | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer--July Challenge Let me just say, I love that google website. It is so awesome. I am able to track my run and really see that my mile markers are not to far off. I figure I'm about 5 sec + or - in times. I'm excited about it. |

Veteran 293 The Emerald City | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer--July Challenge Welcome Emtri!!! Ok gang, this is probably going to be my last post until I get back. Not sure if I will have PC access at the hotel. I need to finish packing and get some sleep. Resist the tempation to feed the duck, it will just make him poop more and our Cap'n just got it cleaned up. Go Team Endless Summer! Edited by kepola 2005-07-07 9:24 PM |

Member 15 Phoenix, Az | Subject: RE: Team Endless Summer--July Challenge Thanks for letting me join so late. Here are my goals for the month: Swim 11,000 Bike 220 Run 45. A little about me...First off my pic is of my 12 y/o pound puppy, Samus. I live in NYC. I am really just getting into Triathlons. I used to bike race back in college, a couple of years ago I did two Sprint triathlons and last year I did my first marathon. However, now I find my self trying to get back in some form of reasonable shape. Ultimately you can thank Vapor Trail for getting me into Triathlons. I plan to start racing in Aug. Oh, Jeffrey Labowski is an alias, my real name is Joe. Let's see who can guess the reference first. Vapor Trail you can't see peep about this one. Anyways, happy to be here. |
