Mocha is hissing at him though..... YAAAAY! and boo-hiss ... actually that's pretty common even for cats who were good friends before one went off to the vet, or gone for a while. Mocha'll come back around. |

(This made me laugh, though.) We have a dog that is in the final stages of a very aggressive muscle cancer. His good days still outnumber the bad days. Yesterday was a bad day full of crying on my part. Today was a fantastic day that made me smile. |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge And I did a 100K tour with 3200 feet of climbing in 4:14. I almost did this in less than 4 hours. On the last climb, my quad charlie-horsed. It was awful! I had to stop the bike and straddle it because I could not move my leg. It was stuck. When I finally got going again, I was really slow. Every time I tried to get back up to speed, my quad threatened another revolt. Recovering from the flu sucks big time! |

That's a serious bit of climbing and the quad cramp sounds decidedly UN fun!! |

Veteran 392 Calgary | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge I just got back from my 7 year old niece's first ever gymnastics competition, and she did awesome! She won a bronze (vault), 2 silvers (floor and uneven bars) and a GOLD (balance beam)! I am so proud of her. I am finally on the mend - went to urgent care yesterday and got meds for this bladder infection - it was starting to rage out of control, I haven't been able to do much of anything the past few days ... but I'm feeling MUCH better today, and look forward to getting back into the swing of things tomorrow. |

Longest ever so far...tried a new route and only went the wrong way once, didn't try to get on the motorway by accident like I did last week! |

It's so sunny and warm and happy, one of those roll down the windows and crank up the radio kind of days. And Lady Antebellum came on the radio... How was that concert a while back? Hi Rhoda - it was really awesome - Lady A were great and Keith Urban absolutely rocked, so great. I would not hesitate to go again! |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge Hey everyone! I've decided to sit out this challenge. I've got 2 weeks left with my friends and want to focus on spending as much time with them as possible. I'll still check in with everyone as often as I can but I feel the most important thing for me right now is to enjoy the little time I have left with my friends before we all go our separate ways. |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge Wow, sounds like lots of great rides today! I did get outside on my bike today... but it was just with the kids on the bike trail. My 6 year old can cruise but my 4 year old is a bit slow on her training wheels. Doesn't really count as training but it was really nice to have to whole family out there riding "together"! |

Veteran 392 Calgary | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge As of today I am back on track. I decided - so it is so. I readjusted my schedule by a week so I'm starting back training PROPERLY and consistently in a taper week, so I don't overdo it this week. But I've only been off the wagon for about 3 weeks, so that's not too bad. I'm worried because I have a "try-a-tri" on Sunday. It's a short fun one that I got sucked into doing against my better judgement - only a 250m swim, 9K bike, 2.5K run - I wish I'd stuck to my guns and just said no. I know I can do it - but I don't want to! I am NOT ready (emotionally), my bike hasn't been ridden outside yet and I can't even find my bike shoes. I'm scared to try my tri suit on, because I'm thinking it's not going to fit. I guess I'll just go into the race knowing it'll be a gong show, knowing it'll suck, and use it as the motivation I need to get me on track for my serious races coming up in July and August (and as the motivation to buckle down and get this injury-weight off!). If nothing else - from what I hear they have great stuff in their race packages. The good news is my boyfriend will be out of town - so he won't be there to see how ridiculous I'll look! lol. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: May Flowers Challenge I want a pat on the head and some serious {{{MELON PRESS}}} for doing ... NOTHING this month. Okay, I did take my mom shopping today and had to down 800 ibu and buy her ice cream in the middle of it or nobody would have survived. But physically it was just some walking around the mall, but probably a good hour of that. |

TR, you will NOT look ridiculous, it WILL be fun, and you will be so happy when you have done it! Stop stressing, its just a short race, a bit of fun, treat it as a training session, relax and enjoy Thats my 2c anyway! |
