Glad you slept well. I agree with you on the attention span thing. We hear no more about Japan, or even the aftermath of the tornadoes in the south. I'm tired of hearing about Bin Laden. I need to stop reading the news. I am so over the news I NEVER watch it on tv. I have never heard may popular peoples voice. I read news papers on line and check out the BBC, CNN and NPR news. It is amazing. if you read the BBC you find out that there are tons and tons of things happening all over the actual world that the good old US of A pays no attention to at all. I'll check back in a bit after dealing with some work-like stuff. I never watch it. I do read CNN, Foxnews, Reuters, and some local websites. I need to find new things to read. I found that I get mad and can't do a thing about it. So now I read stuff on running, gardening, and other things that pop into my head. I am ill informed but in a better mood. I think we call that dumb and happy I don't listen to news. I don't watch the news. And (gasp) I don't read the news. If there is anything that I really need to know, hubby will let me know. He always starts off with "I guess you know about..." or "I guess you heard..." and my response is always "You know the answer is no, so why don' t you just tell me." |
