bradleyd3 - 2012-12-10 8:02 AM Mornin' y'all. We got snow this morning....crazy, huh.

Actual Snow?  Or just flurries?

It was cold down here this morning during my run.  There were only about 12 people running around town lake.  Never seen it that quiet.

Enough to dust the truck and the yard....but not enough to throw a snowball at my unsuspecting wife.

Wife Beater!  ETA Since I ended-up on-top, I guess I have to add the Wink

Morning TAN!

I dropped my iPhone yesterday and the back glass all shattered.  I've now got it all covered in tape so that I don't get stabbed by the shards before taking it in to try and get replaced today.

Yay for Tony getting insurance on the things cuz he probably knew I'd do something dumb like this.

Good morning TAN.

I took my 11 year old shooting for the first time on Sat and she loved it. Not a bad shot for her first time out shooting a real gun with iron sites. She was learning on an air soft rifle with a scope.

Saw her target on FB. I'd say she did better than "not bad"!

ya she did great! She's so small she can't hold up a bigger rifle so she has to use that one untill we make it out to the desert where she can use a shooting table with my 10/22 with a scope on it

My mom taught me how to shoot when I was 12 and it's still one of my favorite memories. Bet it'll be great times for your girl, too.

Ya she loved it and I am working at getting her to be more self reliant and confident. So besides just doing it for fun I hope it empowers her a bit.

he reads, does trail running, and is obsessed with his dog.

Reading- Kindle and or book gift certificates.

Trail- Flourecent colored stuff so the mountain bikers can see him through the bush. GPS watch to track his runs.

Dog- New extendable/retractable leash for the dog. Decent hiking shoes for long walks with the dog. Decent windbreaker jacket for walking the dog or doing trail runs on drizzly days.

YAY for Tony! Although I think the back glass is cheaper than the screen (Screen is $139 according to a sign at Best Buy).

I have one of those otter boxes for my phone.  One of our wind techs dropped that thing from one of the levels inside a wind turbine and it fell 30 feet to a steel platform and survived. It's a huge case though, so I go from completely protecting it with that case or nothing.

Of course they don't - they make a TON of money off of them as long as they do everything they can to NOT pay out on the insurance.   Believe me, I can be strong.

My son dropped my ipad on the tile floor from about 1 foot off the ground and the screen smashed into a million pieces.

We drove down to Best Buy where I had paid the 1 year protection on it and walked out with a brand new ipad 20 minutes later.

I don't think they'll give you too much carp about replacement.

I've taken a look at the Otter boxes before and while I'm sure they do the job, I think I'd like something just a little less bulky.   It has been duly noted, however, that I would most likely benefit from having some sort of protective case.

Good to know... I'll be departing for the Apple store in a couple of hours...  Hopefully this will all go smoothly and I'll walk out with a shiny new iPhone without any troubles.

Hi Gorgeous!

Have you recovered from your awesome performance over the weekend?  I only ask as I know that I'd be sore for DAYS after attempting something so impressive!

Texas is a fun state to fly over.  If you look closely and you see little dirt roads running all over the place in the middle of no-where, it's probably an oil field.  If you look closer you may see wind turbines.

You should be able to see the Grand Canyon, Humphries Peak, and Meteor Crater if you're on the right (Starboard) side of the plane.

Texas is NEVER fun to fly over. It's super boring. Now, Colorado is cool.
