mr2tony - 2013-01-02 4:27 PM I'm quite the ladies man.

Ummm....

I usually sing my wife two off key bars of "My Girl", four consecutive Tarzan yells, a wink, and then holler "Brace yourself for impact!"  THAT my friend is romance.

Sorry pal, but if you want to get that girl excited, ain't nothin' like a C-note and a Trojan wrapper on then nightstand.

A C-Note?  You sending her home in a limo?  Cab money can't be more than a twenty.

He probably asked her to get change from the front desk and bring it back before she rode her Huffy home.

No ho of mine rides a Huffy. Baby's a skank unless she be rollin' at least a Schwinn.

I've wanted one of those for years! I asked the guys in the hospital but they said no.

may.  which seems like a nice time of year for either one.  barcelona is a little easier to get to...and i only have about a week total - including the travel so 5 or 6 good days when i am there.

Hmmm. For me Ecuador is one of the best countries I've been to. Quito is a very cool city. There's a very cool train you can take down to the coast. The route is called el nariz del diablo (the devil's nose). You can also go west into the jungle and take a river cruise along the Napo river which is one of the main tributaries to the Amazon. Very cool as also involves some hiking. Theres great hikes you can do around the volcanos, or go north to a very nice village called Otavalo. I know what you're thinking- how do I do all that in 6 days. You don't. You can pick one or 2 or find a way to extend.

On the other hand Barcelona you can cover in a day maybe 2 at the most. There are side trips you can do to the north into France or west into the Basque area, but for me Barcelona is a weekend stopover next time you fly over to Europe on business.

I have heard very good things about Ecuador from my well-traveled friends. I have not been to Ecuador or Spain, however.

And herroo, TANsters.

I am hella cranky and hate everybody (not you). I am almost never this way so I'm trying to think of it as a refreshing break, to get all goopy and nasty and evil in for a change, for a bit.

I've been running a fever all day so that would explain a lot of it.

Hey Yanti,

You've been in Jakarta too much.

I am going to a pre-screening of Downtown Abbey at the local PBS station tonight.  I enjoy the series a great deal.  I am not sure if I fit with the crowd that might be invited to a pre-screening.  I think no mocking or fake British accents will be allowed.  I will also have to be stone sober to drive home which will dampen the fun a bit. I will provide spoilers tomorrow.

TW

Oooh! I do like Downton Abbey--I'll watch gory crime shows or shark/sea shows before it, but I do like it fair much. I wish I could go with you so we could not-fit-in together

Love and prayers to you and the G6 ... spent 2 hours to go 5K and nowhere in Bali traffic today, figured I may as well use the time productively.
