Typical day of nothingness then.  Well done TAN!

I'm a bit grumpy.  I missed my lunch swim due to work so I have to get it in tonight along with my lifting.  Then I have to catch a 6:20am flight to LA and an 8pm flight back home tomorrow for a marathon work meeting.  My 90 min bike and 30 min run don't look to promising tomorrow.

Once again, get going on a plan, and something ef's it  up.

Yes, the POS load bar gave way and we had to pick them all up and touch up 200 carts and load them by hand up into the trailer.  After waiting for approval from the carriers dispatch to cover all the costs in advance, or they deny that it ever happened even with pictures.  THey have to be paid in 15 days or less, but they can take up to 6 months to respond to a claim, and then deny the claim every time for over a year.  Even though the driver and regional supervisor agree it was there fault.  Still waiting for a shipping claim from 18 months ago.

And are you wearing your special sweater again?

Um no. Ssssh. We are at the MIL's house. She does not know about the sweater. She doesn't know about the wine we hide under the bathroom sink either. There may be thirds tonight.

Hehehe...I hear ya. My in-laws are visiting for a month. I believe a bottle will be opened in my house as well.

I like it when the in-laws come.  They don't judge like my family does, and they bring alcohol with so, when I get home from work, there is usually a drink already made and waiting.

Completely. I am dissapointed that they no longer have the waitresses wearing tequila bandaleors. Go to Fred's in old town. Or, a night out in the Gaslamp district is great. I just checked into my hotel. Holy crap: they upgraded me to the ocean front villa. Nicest room ever. Rack rate is $950 per night!!! I paid $119 with Hotwire! I think the gay check in guy thought I was cute, but I locked the door, so the joke's on him...

From what I've heard, J nearly lived in the Gaslamp during his SD years. He should be able to show me a good time

Hmmm...does Hotwire have you on payroll?

And a truly infatuated desk guy will find a way in. Check your windows...balcony?

Pretty slow day so far unless one is into deer antler spray.

The low point of the day so far has been waking up to the realization that in fact it was not Saturday.

The high point so far has been excellent strawberries for breakfast.

That sounds like a typical day for me, the high and low points.

Had Senate Bean Soup last night for supper followed by spectacular early morning sound effects.  It is a bit interesting that the bean soup has long been the favorite item at the Senate cafeteria.

Good morning TAN.  At home trying to work on things until the roads clear, so I can get into the facility and work.  Closed the facility for everyone, but once it stops snowing and the road crews get a little work done, I will go in and do the everyday maintenance work, rather than pay someone to come in.
