Your sweet talking isn't getting me down in VA to help sandbag for those hurricanes.

Listen, just because I fell off the wagon for a day or two, doesn't mean you're allowed to talk smack! There were days where I was padding away while tumbleweeds were blowing through this place. If I weren't on the verge of being fired for (A) spending 10 days in Wisconsin in Ironman land, totally blowing off work; (B) spending the rest of my time post padding, browsing through BT and texting/chatting with other BTers - I'd be here padding all day. And, um, working out occasionally.

I'm getting back to it today. I think after a string of hellish meetings and a 10 hour day I'll be caught up.

I agree! Hey, I took the summer off and trained like a pro. It was amazing. Until I logged onto my bank account and saw what was in there!

givemashot - 2008-09-10 7:26 PM And my son is out of school for 3 weeks because we are on a year round track system h ere for elementary schools. They go to school for 6 weeks, then they're off for 3 weeks. Things get tricky for me when I have either my niece or my son off track, at different times, because they're on different tracks. And my daughter's school is on a traditional school year calendar. Confused yet? me too.

Eh.  How's the year-round track going for you?

I'm not a fan of having one on year round, and one on traditional. Especially since the one on traditional was my babysitter so I could still train when it was off-track time. Other than that, I have actually enjoyed the track system. Just when the kids get sick of school, they come spend a few weeks at home with mom. By the end of the 3 weeks, they are soooo happy to go back to school! ;-

Got another swim in today. Almost double the distance of monday's swim, and I still feel good.

A little smack talk with teamies isn't a bad thing (unless someone gets mad at me and then, Artemis made me do it).

It felt so good to get back in the pool today! My swim team was on a two week break, and I don't have another pool to swim at in the mean time. I only got to swim for 40 mins today (the rest of the time was a lecture about pool rules), but it was really great
