I have heard of all those things happening and more, but fortunately that has not been my experience.  For me the process has been very straight forward and my committee has been supportive and help.  My advisor is always clear on her expectations and we often talk about both long range and short range goals.  We work very well together, she is by far the best boss that I have ever had.

I hope you have a happy Friday.  Do you have any plans?  How is the marathon training going?

I have an 18 mile run planned for tomorrow.  Going to work on knitting socks and I might do some work this weekend.  Not sure.

I understand that being in TAN requires a certain baseline of insanity, but I never thought I'd actually be TANning in order to keep the voices in my head quiet.

Then again, I never had voices in my head until recently.
