I am sure I will be doing a little over indulging too on Sunday... especially since I gave up beer as of Oct 1st - until after IM.  So that ice cold Shiner Bock Beer from Texas will taste SOOOOO good!
I am also pretty sure it's only gonna take 2, instead of the customary 6, for me to feel their effects as well! Good carb replacement though.

I love chicken wings and beer, but mix that with training is all bad! I have done that way to many times in the beginning of this long training.

Griz - 2009-10-22 12:59 PM Well I got the call from the Volunteer Captain.  Myself along with four others will be doing body marking.  Hopefully since we got that detail we will be able to watch the start.  I am pumped about signing up for IMFL 2010.  I will try and keep a steady hand while I am marking you guys.Laughing  Hope to meet a few people while I am there.
Can I pay you to write "Go Air Force, BEAT ARMY!" on TexasMPGal's leg? That's the day of the football game.

Blasphemy I say! Blasphemy!! I shall be wearing Army gear though. Will you be sporting AF Blue?
GO ARMY! BEAT AIR FORCE! Hmmm, I have a black and gold towel that says that, maybe I should find a way to run with that...

Careful about what you put in your SN bag, as you won't get your bag back after the race.  Food, drink, candy bar, extra socks...all good.  $50 - $150 running shoes...not good.

Is that a confirmed you don't get your SN bags back or that you are not likely to get them back. I thought that you could go get them but if you don't the stuff will donated or whatever they do with it. That will make me a little more careful about what I am putting in them if I can't get it back.

I'm more of a Weather Underground junkie. I guess the only thing I want to know is the hour to hour wind speed/direction so I can mentally plan the ride. Won't be able to do that until 1 or maybe 2 days before.
