How does one say "Happy Birfday!" in Canadian? You're still a yung'n to me, though. Depending which canadian is talking I guess, in french canadian it's Bonne fëte I thought it was "Happy Birthday, aye?" So maybe it could also be "bonne fete, ay?" Many years ago, I worked with a bunch of Canadians. I got into the habit of poking fun at them by ending every sentence with "ay." (It took a long time for me to break that habit later on! LOL) They were among the nicest people I've ever met. |

It was great teaming with everyone. Go Team Taser!!! Yay! You shall not be tasered! *sigh* I have such mixed feelings about all of this. On the one hand, I really like that everyone is hitting their goals. On the other, it means I don't get to taser anyone. BUT - I'll take the 100%, since it's the path to winning this challenge! YAY, TEAM TASER RUNNING! |

I'll have to look around! Mina, which race?? Cranberry, of course! Most of the BTers love it, so I figure the course can't be all bad. And as an added bonus, FlyTheBlueSky is signed up for it as his next one (we both did Season Opener as our first, then Webster as our second), and he beat me by 2 measly seconds in Webster! If I hadn't been a moron and run the wrong way in T2, I would have beat him. Though, he's a much better biker than me, so I'm going to get working on that asap! Won't an Oly feel like a walk in the park after your HIM? I really want to do this race. It's a little pricey but then again, this sport is pricey. I'll have to number crunch. And I do love the Mass Mafia. |

Yeah, I hadn't planned on running wogging today. But I just went out and did 2.10 miles anyway. Just because. Good for you! There's nothing wrong with a wogging addiction. How are the shins? Well, that was part of the reason I went out. I don't know if it's the shins or something else. I'm trying to decide. The good news is: I don't think it's the beginning of shin splints. The bad news is: I'm not sure what it is. So I'll just keep on wogging away until I figure it out.... Or fall down. LOL |

Yeah, I hadn't planned on running wogging today. But I just went out and did 2.10 miles anyway. Just because. Along these same lines I went out and ran a little over 5 miles today just so I could have a 100 mile month Wow, 100 miles of running in one month! That is impressive! I'm at 39.29 miles this month. (Which is a record for me.) And it took me over ten hours to get there. (Like I said, I'm slow. Instead of wogging, I probably need to call it slogging. LOL) BUT I'm really happy because my knees are holding up! YAY! The reason I could never run much is because of knee issues. So I did a lot of reading about running. AND since our team is named Taser Running as the successor to Chi Running, I went out and got the Chi Running book. I'm slogging through the book, at about the same speed that I'm slogging along the road. In other words, slowly. (Although it might be faster if I spent less time on BT. LOL) But I think it's really helping keep the knees from injury. Whoops. This was WAY too long a post! My post count is going to suffer. |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Taser Running II On the running front, I hit 100% of my goal for the month. And since it was so windy today that I almost got blown off my bike - I put the bike back in the dining room (what? where else should I store it?) and went for a run instead. That's almost 50 miles for the month for me. If I keep it up, I may become a runner some day! |
