Asalzwed - 2012-02-11 8:27 PM Yikes. Let's just say I was in the minority of the people who responsibly consumed the hops. The run was a, pardon me, shiiiii show! I had to hold a friend up so she could run in a straight line...while she was trying to make out with me. Awkwaaaard. I believe holding a 2.5 hour pre race event at a bar makes for a hell of a race. I'll have to post a few pics for sure. All on all a good day

I can get down with this type of race, where do I sign up?

Thanks Manatees! Here's the first paragraph from my blog...Today's run was pretty much fantastic. I didn't PR the 1/2 marathon but this is a hilly course and not a PR course. I did, however, PR this course. This was my 3rd time running this event.

Haven't done a RR but did write a bit up on the blog page. I wish you were ALL there with me, but I know you were in spirit.

Here's to a great week for us all!

Oh, it's just another day in the life...come spend some time with me in Seattle and one of the above is bound to happen.

cggale - 2012-02-14 11:22 AM Happy Valentines Day everyone.  How are you spending the day?  I got the day off, so I'm going to my daughter's school to celebrate their Valentine's Day party.  

Awwww! I got a super cute text message from my nieces wishing me a happy valentines day.  Well, ok, they are incapable of actually texting me I am pretty sure it was a relayed message.

My boss is out of town so I am playing boss this week and the in-laws are here so my week is going to be a little crazy. 

Eesh kind of a crazy Valentine's Day ... okay, well, I suppose a "normal" day for me then

Stolen dogs, the Mafia, money, hits, endangered species, cloak-and-dagger, lots of walking, driving all over the island, and a trainer ride when I got home nearly at midnight.

Oh, and an incredible sunset beach grilled fresh seafood dinner with a smokin' redhead.

Well, ok...to be honest my Valentines day also started out by finding out the hard way that ma'-in law showers with the door open. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Yanti, so effing jealous of the seafood on the beach. 

Pretty boring start of V-day for me...School, then a 25 mile bike ride w/hill repeats , dropping off tax stuff at the parents (my dad is my tax accountant--yay free tax prep!), And THEN I get a faboo steak dinner from Clint--prob'ly will see some flowers too...It will be a good night. We don't do a huge amount of stuff, we just do the subtle "I love you" stuff. It works for me.

Congrats to the racers this past weekend! Yay to all the PRs! 

Definitely the highlight of a ... fascinating but most challenging day.
