mr2tony - 2007-09-20 9:50 AM Good morning TAN. Work today. Alleged baseball game tonight. Went to the posh party at the uppity bar and grille last night (You know it's uppity if they put the `e' on the end of grille) and sure enough -- lots of former frat boys and TONS of pretty ladies. The best part -- FREE open bar. Sadly I had to drink five Johnny Walker Blues, on the rocks. Sooo gooood. I've never had Blue before so that was a definite treat. They were serving ONLY top-shelf stuff. And then for food they had wings. But they sucked, so I just kept drinking.

Oh yeah,  I didn't miss that comment about me fitting in. I have never and will never pop my collar, 2 goggles.

Ryan why when I picture you do I envision a frat boy? Is that not correct?

You're a self-proclaimed (and others have exclaimed) ``pretty boy'' who pores over what to wear on a daily basis and dates hot (in a plain kind of way) women.

C'mon 2goggs.  You should know by now that not all frat boys are pretty boys, and not all pretty boys are frat boys.

Boooo. That stinks. Sorry, Schwamm. Pukey feeling is the worst.

i'd at least like to have earned it by having five JW Blues on an empty stomach last night. i know that would have done it.

I find it rather funny that 2 of the most popular threads (besides TAN, of course) are so different but yet both on 4 pages today.

No, no, no, no, I'm NOT a frat boy. I wasn't a frat boy in college, and did not get along with most of the frat boys in college. I made fun of them just like everyone else.

I'm not a self proclaimed pretty boy. I try to dress well, I have good hygeine, and I like to look good.... as do most people. I have been called a pretty boy, to which I always argue. I think where the confusion lies is that people around here are a little behind the times when it comes to fashion. I just don't wear Old Navy striped polo's and levi's. There's nothing wrong with those clothes... it's just not my style. So when I wear Banana Replublic and GAP (like the rest of the world)... I'm "pretty boy" to them. FOR the record.. when the big bouncer dude called me "pretty boy" I was wearing sunglasses on top of my head, my hair gelled, a "trendy" black t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops. It wasn't like I had a pink polo with the collar popped, and camo cargo shorts.  Maybe he just thought I was cute...

Why would I date ugly women? That wouldn't make much sense.

Now you are going to start knocking fraternities?

Ryan, I see I see ... yeah there were LOTS of pink polos there last night and the women were mostly wearing summer-type dresses or super tight black tanks. Hot. OK so mental note -- Ryna is not a frat boy.

OK then ... Schwamm ... you should try it sometime. If it's free. I have to say, JW Blue is good but not $300-a-bottle good.

Easy Crown Royal... not all Frats are bad... but my experiences with frat boys aren't good.

Gotcha.  Let's leave it at that then.

Right.

Nothing is $300 a bottle good.

Oh, I couldn't disagree more.

Pff. I don't mind spending money on something good... but that's going overboard. A $30 bottle of Kettle One will make me just as happy as a $300 bottle of something else.

I didn't say it wouldn't make you just as happy, but there are some things that are definitely worth $300/bottle if not more.

Had a glass of 50 year old port in New Orleans a few years ago.  The bottle is worth ~$375.  If I had the expendible capital, I would definitely buy that whole bottle.  The experience was exquisite, to say the least.
