LockOut - 2010-09-30 1:19 AM Ulgh, work is so much less fun than...  not being at work.

Anyone know how I can become a spy?  I think that would be a kick arse job.

Depends on what kind of spy you want to be. I am ashamed to admit I do not know what Canada's intelligence service is called.

Cats belch?! Ya learn something new every day.

Yes, the family is now Enthalpy, Moose, Gizmo, unnamed calico, Lisa, and me. Everybody gets licked. Except for me. I ain't puttin' up with that shyte no more, literally.

Is unnamed calico a girl or a boy?
Jen with 2 20min TAN kills today! Nice work there! LUNCH MINI POLL!!! I had instant miso soup from a packet (actually very good!) and a salad with home-made green goddess dressing. Side of pretzels.

My sister brought me a roast beast sandwich, noodle salad, and almond pudding. I ate a bite of the sammich (finished it for dinner), a bite of the noodle salad, snorked the pudding, and we split a packet of Pop Tarts for dessert.

It's called CSIS...  Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

And that is true about Americans posing as us...  Who would want to be American, anyways?

My parents want to take me for sushi for lunch... even after I told them about being sick with the fever and the angry tummy.  Really, I think they're just going to miss the awesome sushi in Vancouver once they head to AZ on Friday.  I guess I'll have the miso soup... that shouldn't kill me, right?

Nope.  You could probably get some noodles, too.  At least here, most of the places have a couple noodle dishes.

Seattle had the best sushi ever.  I'd love to go back there.

As we're still fighting, I'll see how the tummy feels about noodles!

Vancouver has some of the best Asian cuisine in the world - great for the taste buds, not so great for the wallet!

I can imagine.  Didn't have time to go to Vancouver last time we were in Seattle, but I'd love to try to make it there next time.  I even brought my passport just in case!  That's the downside of going for a convention, I guess.

Definitely you should come to Vancouver!

Ha!  My last flight to Chicago (which left at 6:15am) I was sitting next to a girl who had been in town for a convention. She had only made it back to her hotel room to kind of pack (i.e. throw everything into the suitcase) and she was still in her club clothes from the night before... FYI - trying to get through customs while still schmammered on tequila isn't the best way to start the day... nor is it the best person to sit beside for a 5 hour flight!

There's a million different kinds of spies, spying, institutions, entities, even corporations or individuals you can work for.

If you want to be a spy, what would your ideal day entail? Bikini chicks? I gotta think that one out. Wait, a friend of mine here does that.

Yanti, I haven't thought through what my daily life would entail.  I don't think I would want to carry around a cyanide pill, but a little bit of action would be good.

Seriuosly, one of my friends does that here. (You thought I was kidding?)

His front is that he is an extremely sharp businessman (he is) and also, he genuinely speaks (at last count) 14 languages. You can be James Bond--it is possible--but you gotta have the skillz to back it up.
