PSA:

If you want to stay married, if the wife asks you to update her Iphone OS an HOUR before she leaves for LA for a week?  Say NO!!!!!

First, it took 30 minutes to download the OS in Itunes.  THEN, while updating, it crashed her phone.  Talk about cold/wet/clammy sweat.  I almost threw up.

Fortunately, it did a backup, prior to installing, so I had to do a entire restore on her phone PRAYING all her contacts and everything came back.  It did (so far so good) AND it updated to 6.0 at the same time.

But then it had to update all her apps, and reorganize/catorgorize/restore 9 gig worth of pictures...

The whole thing took more like 2 hours, and she hovered and "yelled" at how late it was getting the entire time and bit ched about the process and what was taking so long.

Joy...

I have heard this "crashing" incident three times in a week.

Teejaay - 2012-09-24 9:28 AM My iPhone and iPad updates went smooth. Took long. No crashing or losing of info. But no BT crashed constantly on the iPad since the update. That blows.

The long story...  I decided to do it through Itunes rather than WiFi.

The 912 gb file downloaded just fine, then it tried to update the OS and there was an error.  Then the phone turned off, and when it turned on, the entire OS was gone.  The phone was a "brick" and wanted to start up like a brand new phone.  I had to do a restore through Itunes.  At that  point, I was just hoping to get it back working and everything back like it was prior to the attempt.

But when it finally got done restoring, the OS was 6.0, go figure.  Then it took a long time to reload all the apps and pictures.

But it looks like it's golden now.  I KNEW I should have given myself a couple hours to do it.

The Ipad worked fine, but that took an hour too.

Is anyone else in TAN a fancy coffee drinker?

Like espresso, latte, coffee press kind of snob (like me?)

If Vegas were near the Canadian border I would. I won't leave hot as he11 for hot as he11. I want cool weather.

You are hot as hell, we are hot as purgatory.  That's what, a 5-10 degree difference?

We are low 90's now.  Time to break out the winter clothes.

You play on the iPad? It's easier to swipe the letters. Do you touch each letter or connect them with a swipe? That makes it faster. And I do TONS of small words. 2 and 3 letters using bonus letters. It adds up.

no, my phone.  I do have a swiping problem.  That's part of it.

100 for today. High 90s for the rest o the week. Cooling trend.

Fall has come early for Tennessee.   The low this morning was 47, high today 70 with a deep clear blue sky.  I'm going running at lunch for the first time in several months.

Right now the leaves just look tired with spots and brown edges.  Some of the early color has just started.  Dogwoods have turned a reddish bronze.

The G6 are well.  Not much change.  It will take some time.

Shoot, I think I look good in arm warmers.  Keeps all that arm fat from flopping around...  If it wasn't so blazing hot most of the time, I would wear them more oftern.  I have like 3 pair.  Even some cool camo ones.
