Good morning Ghoulies!

Last night was the BEST BASKETBALL PRACTICE EVER!!!

It was the next to last practice, and the B team is done, so it was just the A team. The whole night was just games and having fun. I won the first game of knockout. I got to play about 20 minutes of 4v4. One of the girls got an elbow to the nose, bloody nose. So the coach asked if I wanted to play. Before I went out for knockout I had taken off my socks and shoes. I was wearing moccasins. Not the best shoes for running around a court. My calves were spasming all night, and my Achilles is not the happiest this morning, but it was fun. The boys were having practice after us, and one of the families fosters puppies. The mom brought a puppy to practice. He loved me. I was holding him, he was just licking me all over. I was taunting the girls with him, because they were still on the court playing another game. He eventually fell asleep on my lap. AND there was cake! One of the girls bought a basketball cake at a cub scout bake sale over the weekend and she brought it to practice.

So to sum up.... basketball, I won knockout, puppy, and cake!

Friday is the last practice. The parents are going to take on the kids. I'll be sure to dress appropriately. Keri is going DOWN!

I am off to a staff meeting for the day. At least this is with "our group" not the administration., We are mostly fun people.

No snow or rain yesterday, so the staff meeting was a go. Nothing out of the ordinary there and sometimes it is nice to get out of the house for a while.

We are supposed to get crappy weather, (winter mix) Friday night and Saturday, You know, the day we head to the airport!

Hi Robin. I don't think I'm going to do the 5k. After spending 8ish hours in the car on Friday driving down there, I don't see me moving well enough to run a 5k first thing Saturday morning.

Oh, by the way...

According to Norse Mythology, today is the end of the earth. Odin, Thor, and Loki are all mad at each other and go all fighty.

So, good luck with that.

Seriously. I should have just stayed home from work, but I didn't know how to mark Apocalypse on my timesheet.

Get milk and bread on the way home. I assume that you would need to buy the same stuff as for an ice storm. Maybe some Clorox as well.That is always a big seller for hurricanes.

Since we're falling into the sea, I was thinking some kind of raft(s) to tie behind the kayaks, so I can save Wynn, and Milo, carry some stuff on, and climb onto to stretch my legs every now and then.

Not really sure how the "we're going to fall into the sea" thing works though.

The first thing Keri asked was if it was ours. Nope. I'm holding out for a GSD.

Yeah... I read this as -> I'm going home to save the skittles.

I told my boss about this, he thinks it is good that we work at home and his boys have the day off from school... just in case. I told him not to expect my project on time, what with the world ending and all. He was cool with that.

I just started filling out an application for a new job, but I abandoned it part way through because it was annoying. I don't like it when they ask for a resume, but then also ask you to regurgitate everything on your resume. Then there were 4 pages of "how would you handle this situation" then it started asking questions I thought were a bit personal so I quit. Not the place for me I believe.

Last night we had the big 9th grade course selection meeting at the HS. I will have a high schooler next year AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

He has always been older than his years. He will be 14 on Tuesday. My little boy is trying very hard to be a man.
