I think it means that you are "in", unless you know that the person that is calling you those nicknames is a total f*ckwad and it doesn't matter because they are a f*ckwad.

Eh, to each their own.

The Dan-O thing really doesn't bother me. I was just talking sh0t. I've not run off to hide in a corner and cry.

1. I still am ON BT, ya know.

2. Dan, GFY, I'm not crying about it.

3. The people who screw up my name aren't calling me Christina because I'm "in" with them - it's not a fun nickname. It's people who don't really know me, who haven't bothered to listen when someone introduces me, and haven't bothered to learn the name of the new person. That's rude. Calling someone a nickname is not rude - not bothering to learn the name of the person who sits within earshot of you is.
