BTW, QUESTION FOR YOU ALL. WHY ARE THE CALLED CLIPLESS PEDALS. in my mind, you CLIP IN, dont you think?? queer. im sure theres some profound reason why they are called clipless.....but, things that make ME go hmmmmm. They're called clipless because they don't have toe clips. This was an endless source of confusion to me for a long time! I wonder if the phrase "clipping in" actually referred to putting your feet into the pedals' toe clips, but then just got transferred to mean clipping into clipless pedals. Good to know. That always bothered me too! Thanks Yanti! |

I would have liked to have one or the other done by now but that wasn't in the cards this morning. I had to get a new military ID card this am and that always takes a long time. This afternoon, hubby and I are going out to lunch. So, I think I shall try to swim after lunch and trainer tonight maybe?? I hate to have to ride the trainer after such a nice weekend! But alas, it's raining out. Crapolla! Hopefully tomorrow's hour ride shall be outside! i FEEL your pain ERICA. GORGEOUS day on Saturday. warm. breezy. lovely. today windy, 37 degrees. WHAT the..... the thought of spinning indoors after Saturdays ride. makes me want to just throw a brick! how was lunch w your HUBBY?? |

Master 1632 Almost Canada, WA | Subject: RE: Taser Roasted Peeps I'm starting to get shoe envy...since mine suck so bad maybe I'll have to look into some of these others! I have a run and swim planned for today. Also planned for today is taking Sam to a friends house to be babysat for the FIRST time ever. I'm really nervous but I have to do it or I will not be able to work out for 2 weeks at the end of March since Mike will be TDY in fun-filled MO. Sooooo, I plan on going grocery shopping which I'm not sure what that is like without the kiddo anymore ~ I'll let ya know how much "fun" it was! |

I think I will wait until my blisters/cuts are healed up from my Pearl Izumis. I am headed back to the running store on Wednesday to return those. Stinks cause they feel good in the toe box but rip me up in the heel. I did try on the Zoots and walk around for a minute. Feels fast! |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Taser Roasted Peeps Heya, Peeps! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I managed to survive both a night out on the town and a long run in gale force winds. After such a busy weekend I really could use a few more days off! But, alas, I am stuck at work. Good thing I have BT to keep me occupied. |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Taser Roasted Peeps It was windy enough to stop me in my tracks a few times. And all that road debris left over from the winter kept getting whipped up and tossed in my direction. Nothing like getting pelted with asphalt and sand to make a run a little more interesting. Thank goodness I didn't try to ride my bike. I'm gonna guess that 55 mph gusts are bad when you're on two wheels! |

Did you at least get a good tailwind during the ride? The only fun thing about a windy day is a push at your back that makes you feel like you're riding like a pro! |

WIND or WIND in the MOUNTAINS???? and of course you know our poor decision was WIND! next time I will tackle the windy mountains! or stay home and stretch for that peach! |
