Teejaay - 2012-07-17 12:46 PM Ahem. TAN-Mart is not bringing in any revenue. Where is marketing??? do i need to give a speech about vision or something? Can we do A BT "blast" and get people to join tan for a small fee, cause we are sure to add value to their day :-) hahah people on BT that are not already in here would definitely disagree. where the heck is marketing!!! Let's see. Spending time on match.com looking for the possible love of your live....or spending time in TAN with us, talking about stripper poles, maps of Hawaii, and puking after drinking a yet to be identified concoction. Tough choice.... Love could be found right here in TAN Samy! That is not love! |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() OK, weird/awkward but cool at the same time story. The wife is doing SOMETHING in cali right now (not sure what) but she sent me pictures wearing some of the clothes Whitney Houston wore in shows/movies. Some NO ONE has worn except her. It would be cooler if she wasn't gone... |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() trinnas - 2012-07-17 10:41 AM Kido - 2012-07-17 1:39 PM OK, check my thinking... For the last 6 months, according to my tracker, I have taken in 1400 less calories than burned every day (average). BUT, barely lost any weight. So SOMETHING has to be off, no? I read labels and don't cheat and log everything. So it must assume too much for base metablism and my workouts. Even though being 1400 over seems high. That being said, It does seem easy. If my goal was 1000 less a day and 2400 seems to be what I'm burning since I can't lose. I cut back to 1400? Which is crazy low considering I'm in the middle of IM training and workout about 10 hrs a week. I hate my body. Welcome to my life. It doesn't make sense. You can't generate mass without energy... or energy without mass... no sense at all. I could probably go on survivor and GAIN weight. Edited by Kido 2012-07-17 12:46 PM |

The ONLY times I have lost weight (like a couple springs ago) was when I go drastic and cut to 1600 calores or less a day AND tri train. That seems wrong. Wrong or not. That's what I got to do again to get to race weight - 2400 leaves me wanting, 1400 is miserable. |

Champion![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hi TAN! As much as I loved having my best friend here and stay with us - it's nice to have the place back for just us, and really nice to get back to a regular workout schedule. 3 people in a studio apartment is too much for more than about 3 days! I'd also like the temperatures to go back down if someone can arrange that for me please? |

Nor does long continuous exercise...like a walk or bike ride. What seems to work for my body to dump fat is high intensity interval workouts and full body workouts with weights or body weightnthat are intense but short (like crossfit) And for the food. It's not how much or little I eat but what I eat. If I keep it simple and whole, meat, veg, some fruit and combine it with the right exercise I lose. If I do much longer tempo like stuff and let the sugar or grains creep in.....I stall and start to gain fat very quickly. Sucks. Kido - 2012-07-17 1:39 PM OK, check my thinking... Emotional stress triggers those fat holding chemicals. Less stress=less fat. Truth. Cortisol is a stress hormone which causes your body to store sugars as fat. Cortisol levels are regulated by stress. Primitive biochemical reflex when your body could tuner into it's surroundings and give you the fuel to survive. Problem is; in modern society, adequate fuel can be found everywhere and cheaply. |
