I live in a cube farm at work.  It sucks.  I've shown work-environment etiquette websites, but the Managers don't give a shat, don't want to deal with employee noise and personnel issues.  Pizzes me off royally.

I swear my two co-workers conduct every phone conversation on speaker phone. And their cell phone ringers are set to "I am deaf so need the loudest ringer available".

And the other day one was testing some new video-conferencing software and said "can you hear me now" probably 500 times. I nearly punched him in the face. DUDE go to a conference room when you know you're going to be doing that crap!

Welcome to my world.

I swear my two co-workers conduct every phone conversation on speaker phone. And their cell phone ringers are set to "I am deaf so need the loudest ringer available".

And the other day one was testing some new video-conferencing software and said "can you hear me now" probably 500 times. I nearly punched him in the face. DUDE go to a conference room when you know you're going to be doing that crap!

I have an office so I can shut the door on my conference calls (or when others are getting loud).  So no complaints, really.

BUT, along the same lines, there is one lady that get's on the team call that either yells into her phone or her phone is just REALLY good...  But everyone talks at the same level but when she talks?  I have to scramble to decrease the volume, the turn it up again to hear what anyone else has to say.

mr2tony - 2013-04-24 9:24 AM We have an open seating plan. Nobody in our company has an office. Even our CEO sits at an open desk like the rest of us. And we have 10,000 employees so that's pretty impressive. Our CEO is actually a triathlete, which is cool.

Guilty... But at least I have an office, not a cube.  I like the speakerphone because I don't like holding the phone against my ear for an hour.  Because I have short arms...

They pulled-back from their stance.  It's now wishy-washy morals chicken sandwich.  

But they're quite heavenly...

By the way, Apparently it's Secretary's Day.  Make sure you do nice things for your secretaries.

Lunch time coming up and don't know what to eat.

Choices are:

1). Pizza Hut personal pan pizza or buffet? (oooooo, alliteration there)
2). Michael's Frozen Custard bacon cheeseburger and concrete chocolate malt?
3). KFC (original recipe)?
4). Something from the Mickey D's dollar menu?

I just dunno.
