Leaving early sounds like a FANTASTIC idea!

I'm not sure what I'm getting into. Supposed to be in the 80's today and I don't really want to be at work, but I've taken a lot of time off lately, and I need 2 days off next week so I'm probably going to have to stick it out here today.

Well, even if you have to stick it out today you can still look forward to tomorrow.  Weather is supposed to be half-way decent.

Not supposed to be a washout this weekend. Tomorrow morning I'm going fishing with my son and dad while my husband and daughter go do a mile fun run.

I'm hoping to get a bike ride in tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday I think I'm supposed to go hide in the woods for Search and Rescue training again. My friends and I may do some biking after that.

Should have nice weather next Tuesday when I go to the zoo with my daughter's class. I hope Thursday is nice as well, that is the make up day for Field Day. If they don't get it in on Thursday they won't have it this year. It has already been rained out twice.

Sounds like a good weekend.  They are still calling for rain here on Sunday, so I'm going to squeeze as much as I can in tomorrow.  If it doesn't pour Sunday, that will be a bonus day to play with.

If it does a good book or an old movie and a glass (or 3) of wine are a good choice.

Good morning, Ghoulies!  My vacation was lots of fun, and my work is settling back to normal in the aftermath of "catch up".  I don't know if I can catch up on all the Ghoulie pages though! Smile

On a weird note...  My husband and I came home from work yesterday and entered the garage from the side door.  (We don't park in the garage).  Our lab stays in the garage when we are gone.  Yesterday, when we walked into our locked garage there was also a little stray dog in with our lab!

The only thing that we can figure out is that it came under the gate into the backyard and then into the garage.  This could have happened while the side door was open while our lab was outside before I went to work.  I can't remember if I left the door open or closed.  But I left for work at 8:30 and everything was shut and locked at that time.  I am guessing that it was just hiding in a corner.  I didn't notice our dog reacting but I was zooming thru to go to work.

We checked with some of the neighbors, but no one recognizes it.  It is so timid and small, I don't see how it could have gone very far!  Strange.

Most definitely time to fit all three into a rainy Sunday.

I'll recap

Robin has been busy traveling for work
There was lots of talk of frosty drinks in salt rimmed glasses served by HAWT guys
There was a race between Amy and myself to San Diego to help Tom in the shower
Bill is out on a bike today
Kids are not always bundles of joy and can quite frequently be grumpy
Tom got rehired by the Navy so he will have a job once he leaves the Navy this summer

That's pretty much the jist of it.

That must be it!!!  I don't know what we are going to do with it.  DH does not really want another dog especially one that can get under the gate.

deehtz - 2010-05-21 10:41 AM On a weird note...

Strange.

That must be it!!!  I don't know what we are going to do with it.  DH does not really want another dog especially one that can get under the gate.

Maybe an add in the lost and found section of the paper. I hate to suggest taking it to a shelter. If it was timid, there is a chance it could have been abused, or abandoned and been on his own for awhile. I don't really have any good advice.

I like dogs, if it were me I'd just keep it, unless it were aggressive. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission is my motto.
