deehtz - 2010-08-11 10:16 AM Good Morning, Ghouls!

What an entertaining village this has been!

Neal,  Hope you heal up fast (in time for Vegas)

Robin, Sending ghoulie energy vibes to you!

Bill, at least you can do a 5K, not everyone can.  And even with a chronic injury, you are way faster than I am!

Ann, have you heard anything more on your job interviews?  And how is Milo?

Melissa, you are going to make an awesome md.

Shawn, love your lurking comments.

Kim, have fun in Atlanta.

Kendra, I cannot even imagine riding my motorcycle for that many hours in one day!  You're awesome!

And to anyone else that I missed, so sorry, my memory is definitely limited.  Have a great day anyway!

Morning Dee. Nice recap! Amy is recovering from her tri and camping and her teenage son. I think that about covers it

Tom is also recovering from a hectic week.

I am Aghast!! Shocked! How could I overlook TOM!!!

No worries. I've looked him over several times.

mndymond - 2010-08-11 10:24 AM I feel stressed about seeing my supervisor today...ahhh! I feel like a I have a whole lot of nothing after looking at all my data again...

Need to finish my coffee and then go have a long, hot shower to destress...ack.

My whole masters project was a whole lot of nothing. Sometimes that is important, too. That is how we document statements like "no harmful effects are know to occur".  Breathe!

True. I think it has to do with the protocol though. I think we need to make adjustments to how we position the laser or filter the data...something...Its not really "A BIG DEAL"...but I'm kind of disapointed in how much I was able to get done in the past 3 months and I'm just hoping that he is not upset that I was only able to get what I got done, done. And with less than desireable results...

Oh well. What are you going to do? Just need to go face the music.

What kind of puppy is he?

I had Milo at a huge pet store on Saturday and there was a scale. At 8 weeks he weighed 21.8 lbs.

Peanut is Terrrier/Dachsaund/Chihuahua mix.  At 20 weeks she weighed  9.6 lbs.  LOL

Our older dog is a lab mix.  She weighs 75 lbs.

He's adorable!

I have a lab/golden retriever mix, she's a tank. She play well with Milo though. It won't be long until he's bigger than she is. She's 2 1/2 years old.

I also have a little pomeranian/lab mix. He'll be 16 in October. He is old and doesn't like to play much with either of the younger two. He was a little more tolerant with Milo the other day than I thought, which was good. Milo was walking around following my older dog with the older dogs tail in his mouth.

Oh, funny!  It is amazing what the older dogs will put up with.

I wish I could get good pics of our dogs playing.  But they get distracted when I come out with the camera!  Our older dog is super good with the puppy.

I kept warning Milo that he was pushing his luck, he was pushing his luck. It wasn't long until my older dog told him what he thought about it.

I have the same experience. They'll be doing something cute and as soon as I try to get a picture they'll stop.

LOL.  Yet even when my older dog tells the pup to stop, she doesn't hurt the puppy.  You can tell she is still restraining herself.  So funny.

I did another OWS swim yesterday.  My second.  In a local lake.  I swam 1/2 mile in about 25 minutes.  Actually I probably swam a good bit further since I kept having to do course corrections.

At least I know I can do the distance.

Tomorrow I am supposed to swim with my master's group in the Columbia River.  Much colder.  I don't have a wetsuit, but I will at least try it.
