I guess I'll have a pear for dessert??? I thought this was dessert? Yanti - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE breakfast for dinner! Heh, I pretty much LOVE LOVE LOVE any kind of food ... any time of the day. Now that I'm getting better I'm RAVENOUSLY hungry. My maid is going to kill me--I just slopped PB and syrup on the CLEAN NEW SPREAD she put on the lounger. Your pets don't lick that right up? My daughter got really upset this morning because she thought the kitten was eating her pjs out of the dirty laundry pile. He was really just trying to get all her breakfast off them! No way. For the most part my dog doesn't touch anything I don't give her permission to. The cats I threw outside a while ago b/c they were driving me nuts. I just folded over that part of the spread--she won't notice, right? It sounds like you have it well hidden, Yanti! |

However, I found a referenced article that said: "The fever and aches can be treated with traditional medicines like analgesics and anticonvulsants. Aspirin should be avoided. There is no medication that will kill the virus. Supportive care with rest is advised to deal with acute joint pain. Movement and mild exercise tend to improve stiffness. However, heavy exercise may exacerbate symptoms." In terms of exercises, avoid heavy strength training. In terms of mild movement recommendations, try active range of motion activities. I know it will be boring compared to what you're used to but it's the best I can suggest from the information I have. Here's a link that will give you some ideas for some AROM exercises: http://www.ehow.com/how_2070391_do-range-motion-exercises.html Let me know if there's anything else I might be able to help with. Sorry I couldn't give you too much to work with. It looks according to your age that things should look up soon. Hey Yanti, not sure if you saw this so I thought I would move it up. Since you're starting to recover it probably won't be very helpful - but just in case. Glad to hear you're feeling better. Good thing you're young and normally healthy! |

Elite 2640 Ontario, Canada | Subject: RE: Ghoulies October: GHOULIE CRUSHERS! I've been eating healthier for the past few months (on and off throughout the day - it's a process) and my mom accuses me of starving myself. I laugh at her and tell her that's just not possible. (She doesn't track my diet enough to know that I am well fed, although maybe not nutritionally, 99% of the time.) Healthier eating is not equal to starvation, except in her mind... |

I wonder what a disaster my diet will turn into if I ever decide to reproduce. |

Between weird food aversions and being forced on the scale so often at the doctors office, I only gained the "normal" amount of weight with each pregnancy. Afterwards, when I could eat (and drink) what I wanted and had to try to LOSE the leftover weight, that's when I ran into problems! |
