Today is just my normal Monday... well, that and I was up until 2 because I couldn't sleep last night until after 2... and was up early for the monthly Men's Breakfast...

Prolificity--is that a real word? I was actually wondering this weekend if there was a proper noun form for "prolific."

Sorry. It was just a time-filler in between pondering some finer aspects of nuclear physics.

I wish I were kidding.

Everybody's selfish, just to different degrees. Then again, how would we define "selfish"? Self-centred or self-aggrandizing to the point of harming others? But harm according to whose perception? If it were ours, if we were rational, we probably would curtail the behavior. But if according to others ... now that's a whole 'nother can o' worms ... my parents think I'm selfish simply for living in a different city.

Yeah, I've had WAY too much time to just wonder.

Any one of them worth their salt will tell you what we've been telling you for free:

You can't deal with such people. You can only take care of yourself, your own issues, and do the best you can. In any dealings with them, be yourself, as you would be with any other persons, and interact as healthily as YOU can, because they can't.

So I just got off the phone with a woman from Marshall University.  She wants to rent the church's parking lot out for the WVU-Marshall game for a tailgate.  We usually park cars at the church and will bring in about $2000 or per game ( we give it all away...which is so cool).

She told me that they would pay us, and I threw out the figure of $3000... she didn't even blink.

The lot they were going to use got nixed because the out-going Pres. moved up a construction timetable to build a child care facility...  doh.  

I think we might be having an easy day of it that day...

we shall see... I need to check with my parking folks...

Perturbation theory.

Dude - dude dude - ya gotta start high when dealing with large companies, like a University.  They'll make  way more than $3000 on this by the time it is all said and done.  I bet they would have paid 5 to 6.  How big an area?

I'm perturbed.  What's that do to your theory?
