Ooo, we get TWO of them. Yippee!

Of course, there obviously wasn't a whole lot of Nibbs conversation today, I see.

Morning Nibbs!  I'm still sleepy, but packing up for my ride.

I feel like I've been a really bad Nibbs this month, too.

Hello NIBBleteers, just a quick drive by to let you know that both Heather and I finished our half marathon today. It went well for both of us (more on that later). Official times are not posted yet, and neither one of us will have time to do a RR until later, but I wanted to let you all know.

Lots of Nibbs are racing today.  Now that we've heard from Heather and Amy, we still need to find out about Kristen and Judi.

Wait.... Kristen and Judi are racing today, but you're not?

I would think you'd want another photo op with them.

you call 3 hrs, no voice, and my head feeling like godzilla kicked it well?
I missed our tri club photo op...
I missed our photo op (did we have one)
and I'm at work til 9 tonight and I think I lost a lung and part of my butt on the course...

Now that it's all over and the adrenaline is gone, I want to sit here and cry...
but NTL... must get back to the tournament...

I guess the good thing is that while every one else may be resting and letting their legs get stiff, I'm still on my feet working all the lactic acid out

Thanks for all the inspires... I'll try to catch-up Mon night after all is over at work and the company leaves...

I know... this was more like three posts... but I'm at *werk*....
Can you tell I hate the fact that I'm at werk?

LATER GANG!!!

From my blog....

Total time 3:42.....I think I spent as long swimming as I did biking or running Frown.  Water was 60 degrees.  I was dizzy and nauseas the whole time.  Never found any kind of rhythm to stroke.  Serious leg cramps from 500 meters on.  One person in my wave got out before 500 meters turn, She swam to the dock and that was it.  I stood up in a shallow spot and caught my breath, had one of many HTFU talks with myself during that swim.  I knew once I got out of that lake I was in for a good day so I forced myself to continue.
I didn't hit the lap splits on the HRM to get my times so I'm not sure how long T1 was but it went pretty well.
I was on the bike 3 or 4 miles before I felt my equilibrium back to feel normal.  Not sure how I did that part without crashing into anyone.  Course is great, gentle rollers with nice flat recovey sections where I maintained over 19 mph Smile.2 laps of the 12 mile loop, passed 6 people KissLove my Speed Demon
T2 was uneventful.
Run was through the woods to a road, fairly straight forward, couple rollers.  Did the loop twice.  No shade yet, trees aren't in full leaf so it was HOT out there.  Had to walk for several short bursts through the run cause I kept getting a hot spot on my foot.  Felt like my socks were bunched up but they weren't.  Was really glad to hit the turn back into the woods to finish.
Didn't stay for the post race food (Brunswick stew sounded gross to my stomach).  We headed to our friend's lake house so I could shower and found a place to eat. (Gyro w/ fries, a salad and sweet tea hit the spot)

I think my mouse is dying. I click, click, click, click, click.... and nothing happens. Or even worse, something OTHER than what I want gets highlighted.

Oh well, it's better than the time my "e" key went. Ever try typing something without using a single "e"????
