Ok...I lied...Its Hotel Monaco in San Fran...the Monte Carlo is in Vegas...right... Haha...well then you might just have to come to San Fran personally to bail me out Robin If I had to, I sure would. I would have to stay a while longer just to make sure you were okay. Haha. You might need some extra help with me...maybe you should drag Neal along as well.... Just sayin... |

I get to hear all about breastfeeding, so I can answer questions from the patients. You know, the patients with newborns who come in to the urgent care clinic with breastfeeding questions at night. There's tons of them. Like maybe one every 2 years. And I've never had any education about breastfeeding and how to help a new mom. Nope not once in 10 years of nursing. I suppose I should just be happy I don't have to sit and listen tot alk about routine immunizations for an hour. We aren't allowed to give anything other than a tetanus shot and maybe the occasional flu shot in after hours clinic becuase most insurance companies won't pay us to do them. Apparently they want the primary care physicians to do them, LOL. Fine by me. I hated doing them when I used to work during the day. Some day my boss will decide it's ok for the night-time nursing staff to have their own nurse meetings. Until then, she will continue to pay me to sit and be bored. Wow, didn't mean to go off like that. Sorry! Have a good afternoon gouhlies! Wow Amy - I think that is the first vent you have had in 1+ years!!! I really like all of my BiL and SiL. Don't have any parents in law, so I don't know how that would have gone. |

I can of course always cancel this if we do get a house. Right now I have a room with 2 queens in the Grand Pacific Palisades. Any and all of the single people are welcome to room with me, or if any of the married people are comfortable I'd share the room with you, too. This includes you, too, Neal. We are mostly adults, I can be grown up enough to share a room with a guy. Let me know. |
