I know, guys.  New people are constantly coming in, so I see the reappearance of topics as valid for them.  Heck, I was clueless when I started (and still am in many ways).  I just don't like how CRAZY people get.  You either do flipturns or you don't.  You find value in them or you don't.  I probably shouldn't even open those anymore.  We all have opinions.

Just think if this forum didn't have the touchy, feely aspect it does and people didn't filter.  This is seriously the most tame forum I've EVER seen.

I do as well. Leave the thread, just close it if need be, but there's still "value" in leaving it up (for one thing, you can pinpoint who the sensitive people are after some time

Or the "220 - age HR" threads.  There are several topics that repeat often.  I honestly stopped reading most threads except this one.  It's pretty entertaining.

I like to see how worked up people get over others opinions.  I wonder what some of the people who are involved in every thread do for a living.  or what kind of life they have.  I think if I had that much time to look through all the threads I would go train more.

speaking of flip turns-I cut seven seconds off my 50 this week. That is huge for me and I DID NOT use a flip turn (ha ha). This master's class is paying dividends. I am finally feeling the water rather than fighting it.  On another note I was bummed because my zoomers came today and they are too small-have to send them back for the right size.

The other value in keeping it is then people can search and find it (and maybe not re-post again).

I'll have to find the article "why people argue on the internet."

I think its one thing to argue about something you feel strongly about, its another to argue about EVERYTHING.

Waiting for the sun to rise and go out and run.  Then court in New Haven and a crappy, busy day at work.

Hoping to make it to my CPR/First Aid class tonight.

I was up early for a run, and then I'm hitting the pool after I pick up Conrad from school.  I'm going to give the gym daycare one more shot.  If I get pulled out of the pool because Freddy is bawling around, then I won't be taking them there again.  I'll have to try 4:30 a.m. swims, which just sounds miserable.  Nothing worse than getting pulled out of the pool 800m in to a 2000m workout.  It's a bummer!  I hope Freddy's stranger anxiety goes away soon.

I need a place to vent!!!

For the last 10 years I have coached boys lacrosse. This past summer I had an awful experience where a player I was coaching was hit in the chest with a shot from another player and went into Cardiac Arrest. I had to do CPR and we shocked him and today the 16 year old young man is still alive. My vent is this past Friday night a 12 year old boy was struck in the chest with a shot from another lacrosse player and yesterday he sercomed to his injuries. This Stinks

But God is Good!! Its just one of those days
