Asalzwed - 2012-08-17 12:01 PM Super interesting start to my day @ work btw. Boss got new tattoo and wanted to show me. Surprised

Hmm.  Can't say I've ever had that happen...

YET! Smile

It was with the most innocent of intentions, but finding myself in an office with the blinds closed is not where I thought I'd be at 9am.

Boss male or female?  Did anyone witness the closed blinds tete a tete?  Are tongues waggling??  C'mon girl, deets.Laughing

Female. She totally took everything off up top without a second thought.I wasn't even expecting it.  I don't think anyone saw us but we weren't exactly being sneaky since, after all, we weren't like..hiding anything except her bewbs LOL

It's all good though, I played it cool Wink

OMG that is fricken hilarious!  Honestly, I can't think of any boss that I have had that I wouldn't have excused myself in a hurry.  I am not that cool that I could've played it cool.  I once had a boss come on to me at a work party held at her cabin--she hugged me and whispered in my ear which side of the bed she slept on.  She was in a long term relationship and knew me to be as well.  I was so icked out it wasn't funny.  There had been some drinking, but seriously.

HAHA!! Ah the ol come to my cabin for a work party trick. And what side of the bed she slept on? Ohhh man, what I wonder is if that line ever worked? That's a strange one. Yuck

Yeah my boss was definitely not coming onto me at all. Her tattoo is actually this replica of the pattern from the arbor she and her husband got married under and he is getting a similar one. Very cute. But when taken out of context and placed in a cardboard bar...

Ok, what is probably even funnier is the office we ducked into was actually being used for a special project where they were modeling a full scale bar (coffee bar) out of cardboard. So, you know, a little set and everything. I should stop watching so much-uh-television.

You just can't make this kind of thing up.

Oh. Has anyone repainted the walls in her office?

Reminds me of Zach and Miri Make a Porno ...

That was my boss's boss's boss and she is gone now. I can see how you might be confussed. Smile

Artemis - 2012-08-18 3:40 AM Ok...now that I'm caught up, I can post for real.  I'm a bit down the past few days.  Not sure what is going on.  I think it's partly hormonal, partly lack of sleep, part depression (how long can PPD really last?).  I'm trying to find the motivation to do my 3 mile run this weekend, but all I want to do is curl up in bed for the whole weekend.

{MELON PRESS} Miss Moose ...

Biscuits and Moose send additional cuddles.

Could be anything; what can you do for yourself today? Tea? A walk? Bad TV show? Don't worry about the three mile run right at this moment ...

3 miles is tomorrow.  I'm trying to think of something to reward myself.  The best I can come up with is a nap.

Right now, I am having coffee and a croissant.  The croissant does not fit in my diet plan, but I don't care.  I'm not logging it and I'm pretending it doesn't exist.

Croissants don't count, especially if you are feeling sad, because they are in the shape of a happy little smile.

Awwww sorry you are dealing with that!

Yeah, do something for yourself. If you do decide to run, don't make it for any specific mileage. Just go somewhere you like and make it enjoyable. If that's not possible I would just bag it and relax.

For instance, if I am lacking motivation for a run I go somewhere interesting like a favorite park or check out a new building downtown or go for a run on the waterfront at sunset and I go reaaaaaaallly slow with no pressure to go a certain distance or speed or anything.

That sounds good.  Maybe I will go to the park and run on some of the trails instead of running through my neighborhood like normal.

Also, happy little smile made me think of Bob Ross and "happy little trees." That man was awesome. There is a great Bob Ross drinking game.

Go racing MANATEES!!!! Represent!

So I was in court all morning and I kept thinking I wanted to get on my phone to tell you all about masters this morning! It was amuch better experience. We only used the toys for w/u and I shared a lane with a woman who was slightly faster than I. It pushed my to reach a new training PR and my arms were def tired by the end.
Funny one lady referred to the triathletes as having slow endurance! True for me at least.
