lastcall2003 - 2007-11-15 4:40 PM Did my nibbins notes make us go wide???

No...as I stated in my epiphany...it's all those page numbers lined up at the top and bottom of the page...

Did we need to start Twisnibbins III at page 60?

thoughts from the team????

I personally kind of like not having to scroll - but, I'm game to keep going.

I will not be around tomorrow at all, I will be in PA, my flight leaves at 5:50 am and I return to Omaha at 11:30 pm - doubtful that I will make it through all of the posts that ouccur while I am gone :-)

At the rate we are going, it is highly likely we will reach 60 by tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

I could

  1. Create a new thread tonight
  2. Create a new thread Saturday morning (maybe late Friday night - depending)
  3. Do Nothing

or, someone else could start the thread -

thoughts on the subject?

Heh...still here...my manager and director caught me right as I was leaving to discuss design plans and the 'big' presentation to the VP on Monday (I should have logged out and gotten out of here earlier ).

Have a great trip Beth!

Any one of us could start the thread...I'd feel comfortable doing it in your absence, oh captain, my captain!

Adios!

I vote that we start a new thread before we have our scrolling problem again... it's difficult enough to keep track of all of the pages with scrolling up/down, much less right/left...

I vote for 1 or 2.

Posting the notes a little early today - I have one last meeting and then I am headed to get a manicure and pedicure :-)

Nibbins Notes: 11/15/07 (you can also check page 39, for the nighttime adventures of the nibbins - that sounds waaaaay more exciting than it is - LOL)

Tammy – First to arrive in Nibbins this morning. She wants to borrow Max’s skirt???? She may be riding the Silver Comet trail – which is an old converted rail line used for biking – (not an *innuendo* LOL)

Kendra – 3 mile run AND 3 miles on the drainer – WTG Kendra!!! She and the hubby are thinking about getting rid of the landline, she’s looking for thoughts on the topic. Went to the dentist – not fun.

Sal – The thread ambassador defended the Twisnibbins honor with guns a’blazn’ - Nicely done Sal!!!(he also extended and invite to come visit, in true Nibbins style – again – nicely done!)

He is doing the Turkey Run next Thursday – so lots of cheering him on Nibbins style is expected!!!

Judi – got a her hair cut today (I cannot wait for Saturday when my appt is) – oops sorry, this is about Judi ;-)

Pam – Hip is stiff, she went to the chiro – didn’t like the news she got L. Yummy school lunch today with her daughter (that is the stuff memories are made of!). Send her lots of good wishes J

Mila – Taught us how to say octopus – “ossa-poose” – how cute is that!!! Hope she enjoyed her play on BT all day a rest day ;-) Mila’s bike is sassalicious!

Sharon giving blood today and will be choosing to ignore the “no intense exercise” advice. Some solid advice was shared to ensure her safety on the Eliptical.

Donto – Also having a school lunch today, hmmmmm – must be the season! Hope he survived the double serving of Turkey and didn’t fall asleep at work. At least if you’re playing on Twisnibbins and people hear the clicking of your keyboard – they assume that you are working – sleeping is a little harder to cover up – LMAO

Max – claims his incredibly big post count is not due to chattiness – I guess that remains to be seen! He set a goal for 2 hrs on the drainer – Go Max! – (oh wait, he’s not actually on the Twisnibbins team) – oh well – Go Max! Oh, and he’s ‘blaming’ Cat for his appearance on the thread – I’m sure Cat may have something to say about that.

Hector – working some really long days. He had to review over 20 power point presentations (talk about h3ll!!) – be sure to inspire him!!! (oh and buy him a beer – sounds like he needs one!)

Kristen – ‘hearts’ the Twisnibbins and loves us, and not only for our excellent snack advice! Kristen, we ‘heart’ you tooo!

Cat – picked up her orthos – woo hooo!! Had to work Boo Hoo!

Amy – looking for input on an avatar

Heather – recommended a lovely avatar for Amy

Hot legs pic alert – I’ll let you discover who the legs belong to!
Mrs Max is truly and inspiration!!

I will be here tonight, but gone all day tomorrow - I'll be in PS all day leave at 5 am, return at 11:30 pm

LOL - I am heading to the gym, ignoring the Red Cross' recommendations, and I will be strategically selecting my exercise equipment... I will update all y'all later tonight!

LOL! I never even noticed stars before this month's challenge!
One more post and I lose stars... Oh, but then I get one in another pink one

Mmmm.. i LOVE pink

Will you lose all your pink ones in exchange for a blue one next?

hmm I think you are right.... but pink and sliver always look good together... then again silver and blue to do...

Trek Equinox 7 WSD 2008 - thats the colour scheme and I think it looks nice!

Blue and black!!! Cervelo P2C color scheme. Not that I'm prejudiced or anything

hehe at the moment I have a red/gray/black roadie and a blue mountain bike... neither of the paint schemes set me on fire though!

I know what you mean. Mine's not real exciting either.  I do have my eye on one though.....

Uh oh. We're getting WIDE again.

Thats purty!

I feel truly honored to have made Nibbins Notes. You guys are the best.

As a dis-honorary Nibbin, I vote no scrolling...it makes me seasick too.

I'm too slurky (def: mostly lurking & very slow) still to keep up...but I'm trying -

But let me say:

Sal - watch out for the Mosc men...you got them riled up now. (oops...was I supposed to say that out loud? maybe I was supposed to use the special invisible font...it's so tough being a dual agent)

Mila's bike really is sassalicious (I've seen it in person - at the Silver Comet trail no less (fun ride)- and the bike is super purty)

I'm not the post-hound I seem to be - I could have easily broken this up into 4-5 separate posts.

Showing up in this thread reminds me that I like to compare myself to the occasional villain that appears in a soap opera.  You only see him once in a while, and the fact that he misses 90% of the previous episodes posts makes little difference.  I appear to be a kind of a hit-and-run thing!

Oh, and thanks for the props on the sassy bike.  I *heart* it and yes, it was a fun ride...  though not so very social for me (OK, well, I was social with ADollar) because some task master who shall remain nameless (Sparco) was making me train hard for SC HIM.  I guess that worked out OK .

Soap opera stars are hot

Here's what you need to know:
- We all gave mad props to Mrs. Max earlier  (yes, I know her name but Mrs. Max has a nice ring to it)
- My bike is sassalicious and I'm looking for a sugar daddy to buy me a Scott Contessa Plasma
- There was some other stuff too .

Edited 'cause the misspelling would have driven me to drink.  On the other hand... that might not be such a bad thing...

I'd send her over here to view this thread, but her web navigating skills would probably leave her in some cyber black hole, never to return.  Yeah she is some foxylicious babe...I'll pass the props on to her!

YAY!!!  I actually got a run in this week!! And it wasn't on the TM.  I think this is the first time I've run on the street in at least three years.  Gotta remember gloves next time (i'm thinking the liners to my ski gloves should work well)  2mi route according to the mapping system.

Well, my little one has figured out how to open the disc driver on the CPU, only a matter of time before he shuts it down.

Have a pleasant flight Beth!!!

Later Y'all

What you need is a sugar daddy who is the same height as you and who loves pink.  That way you can take turns riding it.  When he eventually comes to the conclusion that it's not working, he buys another bike to go with it!  Gawd I'm so brilliant!!!
