mndymond - 2012-01-30 9:40 AM Hey ghoulies! Hope all is well in the village! Been busy. Only 2 weeks left of psych....my tolerance level has started to wax off....lol. I got my DPT vaccine on Fri afternoon and MY ARM STILL FRIGGIN HURTS! Ugh. I'm blaming the pertussis part....diphtheria and tetanus don't hurt this much. Or the nurse who gave it to me traumatized my deltoid....grrrrrrr. It hurts more than MMR and that's a live vaccine. Damn pertussis.

Last night I got my running clothes all ready and laid out so I could go running this morning. I had my alarm set for 4:45 and was going to go 2 miles before work. I woke up at 4:18, it was very windy outside, I went to the bathroom, and it was white outside. I went back to bed. When I got up an hour later and got ready for work it was 21 degrees out. I'm glad I went back to bed. The clothes I had laid out weren't warm enough for 21 degrees with snow and wind. It is supposed to warm up today and be in the 50's the rest of the week, lows only in the 30's. I will run tomorrow.

I did get in the pool yesterday!

Good morning Ghoulies.  I had a great three day weekend with hubby.  Friday was spent working on cleaning out his side of the office (which has taken over the whole office.  I can't get to my side at all).  Then we saw the play "Body of Water" which was awesome.  All about memory loss.  I highly recommend it if someone does it in your area.

Saturday was riding the motorcycles and the motorcycle show.  Hubby got new gloves and boots.  I was looking for a belt buckle, but no luck.  Then that night we went to a Disco night fundraiser for a friends Kiwana's club.  Had lots of fun dancing. 

Sunday was a quiet morning and then tennis in the afternoon.  My partner was a 21 year old, who had only played mixed tennis one other time.  First set went 7-5, but we won it.  Then the second set we won 6-2.  Lots of games went to deuce.  It was a great match.  Then hubby and I went out to dinner.  Any dinner I don't have to cook is great.  And I've got the left overs for lunch today.

mndymond - 2012-01-30 10:50 AM Ya. Pertussis is apparently making a come back due to parents not vaccinating their kids. So is measles, mumps and rubella. They are starting to get really worried that polio will come back because of lack of herd immunity. The autism with MMR farce only added fuel to the fire for anti-vaccination.

deehtz - 2012-01-28 5:28 PM Met a big goal today in my trek back to getting in shape.  I ran 3.5 miles with an average pace of under 12 minute mile,  Actually it was average of 11'35".  and for a mile and a half I averaged an 11'06" minutes per mile.  This is really good for me!  I am tired but happy!

ceilidh - 2012-01-30 4:17 PM Home... Lucy and Ethel splashed my car with hazardous waste. Good thing it is just sludge with arsenic in it. We had to drive it into the containment area and hose it off. Idiots! They wouldn't even rainX it for me when they were done!

Lucy and Ethel are now officially Bevis and Butthead. I am headed back to day. They are shipping the last of the waste today so.... hopefully.... knocking on wood... crossing my fingers... this is the last day I will have to be there.
