Does anyone see how I can customize my posts? For example, sarc font, bold, italics, color, size, etc?

It would be nice to also bold the quote if you want to focus on a particular point.

Anyone catch mrs Kido in the opeing for the Billboard music awards?

Better yet, see the leg drop and smack down Miguel put on some helpless fan with his bone headed stage jump?

You'll get used to it... every site that I've ever been on that changes things goes though a phase like this and within a month - as long as the site hasn't lost any truly loved functionality - people will have adapted just fine.

Yeah, it's temporary. They gotta do what they gotta do. As for boneheaded stage jump. That was awful. Girl was like "I'm so cool! I get front row at the Music Awards!!!" Then she's like "Yow! My neck!!!" Oh and I apologize for calling him Rick Reilly. Guess I need to run an IM some day to make it up for hurting his feelings.

The friends thing is still a pain in the butt. Click, scroll, click, click. Then inspire. Oh that's AFTER you locate your friends list by going to "community" - "friends" - UGH.

That all disappeared too.

You can do some manual HTML if you know it...

Hopefully that will get added back in after the larger bugs are fixed. I haven't seen the friends list thing, yet, but I admittedly don't do much there.

Edit - just looked at it... yeah, that's kinda annoying, but I can understand the logic in how they arranged it. From the friends list, it would be nice if they added a simple "Inspire" link that would allow you to add an Inspire for the current day. If you want to do it for a previous day, then you can do it the long way.

I missed the show last night, but I am sure that your wife rocked it and it must have been pretty darn special to see her perform on TV.

I do agree with your comments....it just ain't the same TAN as it used to be.

Wife asked me to look into weekend plans. Had a thought to go to the grand canyon. Story of my life though. Finally figure out we have time to do something only days before the weekend/event...

Try booking a tour or hotel for the grand canyon on a long weekend only days before the weekend... nearly impossible. So now we don't do anything.

Can't commit far enough out to make plans, so wait till the last second and everything is gone. Boo.

I quit watching the crappy music awards shows many years ago when it was more of a glitter and flash pots thing instead of about the music. I wonder if there is a youtube file yet. Maybe I can see it there.

Yeah, they are pretty bad. Everyone trying to act cool and think they are all that. The name "super star" being tossed around. Like Pittbull is a superstar. Um, really? Flash in the pan/popular, maybe. But to be a superstar, you have to have some longevity and keep putting out quality work. Not just be popular.

I saw a commercial during it. It was a google chrome commercial and they used Beethoven's 5th in the background. I just realized that some of those classical pieces are STILL good and bascially timeless. The pinnacle of musical creation. The piece is almost 200 YEARS OLD!

Think anyone is going to know who Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Pittbull or Kylie Minogue is in 20 yrs much less than 200! Yeah they will be using Gangam Style for a TV commercial in 2193....

I did my first marathon Sunday. I actually felt pretty decently yesterday - walking stairs didn't even really hurt. My glutes and hamstrings are sore as hell, though. I really should have ran more before that thing
