A little of this, a little of that. Working hard these days, and not really focused on a whole lot. Just kind of ambling through things, which is okay for now, but will require focus soon. Calm before the storm, I suppose.

You?

Morning TAN.  Looks like another 'Dear Penthouse...' moment at Zirra's house.  Not that I'm surprised.

What's going on whi-cha today?  I'm going to be crawling under a house with an inspector around noon.  The home buying process is rolling on along.

the next person to say "wow it must be cool to travel for work" is getting punched in the face.

vacation SATURDAY
It depends on where you go, for how long and with whom. For example, if you were to go to Vegas for two weeks with a model (of your choosing) then it'd be cool.

yes, travel is fun and exciting.

travel for work is BULL SH1T.
I try to make the most of work travel, including but not limited to visiting old friends or hitting up new restaurants or bars.

Me too. But I only travel once or twice per year for work, so I'm sure it gets old if you have to do it every month.
She batches and moans, but won't call a brotha to hang out and have a beer. Travel fail.

i was stuck in the airport...believe me i thought about it - would have paid for it too (well, corp amex would have) but didn't think anyone would want to come out to that awful place.  ugh.

There are TONS of "reputable establishments" near the Atlanta airport...

Yeah, Hartfield airport isn't the best for getting into or hanging around.  But I think, once you're in there, it is one of the better ones for getting to your gate pretty easily.  At least out of the super busy airports.  Not like O'Hare, where they never bring you to within a mile of your connecting gate.  I've had to pull the OJ, running through the airport and leaping chairs, almost everytime.

Yeah, the Cheetah 3 is (or used to be) about 20-30 minutes away from the airport.  If it is still there...

oh and o'hare loses major points because while i was stuck there till 11 pm FRIDAY NIGHT they shut down EVERYTHING - bars, restaurants, newsstands, EVERYTHING - at 9:30.  WTF?  at least in ATL i can drink until the minute i board the plane.

That's because the ATL is so much classier than Chicago.  Or maybe because you need to drink more when in Atlanta.  I know I do, since my folks live near Atlanta.  Just sayin'.
