mbasta - 2010-10-09 10:31 PM First female age grouper was Canadian! Woo!

Now they're saying no female age grouper has come through yet... but I swear I just saw it.

As I mentioned before, the planks are wreking havoc on the nerves in my wrist and elbow, so I came up with a new exercise regimine that's still challenging, totals 4 min per day, and attacks the core.

1. Squat thrusts (# in 1 min)
2. Modified V-Up (# in 1 min)
3. Crunch (# in 1 min)
4. Prone cobera (total 1 min)

I'll let the Ghoulies know too! Planks aren't worth the damage being done and I know that I can maintain this set of exercises.

Workout complete! It is a good trade based on my core response.

1. Squat thrusts (9 in 1 min)
2. Modified V-Up (14 in 1 min)
3. Crunch (24 in 1 min)
4. Prone cobera (1 set 1 min)

Heading to update the spreadsheet!

QueenZipp - 2010-10-09 5:41 PM WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I swam 1400 yards in 25 minutes.  Is that really ME?  I have never been that fast!  I was working my keester off!

Plus, I brought home a new car today.  2011 Ford Edge.  Pics later, I gotta EAT!

Wha hoo - great job on the swim - I can only dream of learning to swim one day and being that fast.

Congrats on the new car

Awsome watching the finish line! I just finished 10km instead of scheduled 9km. Longest run to date! My previous longest was 7km. Laughing

Congratulations - way to go...

It is nice, but I wouldn't mind a nice rainbow of stars. I plan to stick around BT for a long time, so one day I will have lots too. I need BT! None of my friends are into tri or any of swim, bike, run. Most of them aren't active. I'm working on it but haven't brought anyone over to the tri side yet.

The weekend is coming along nicely for me as well. Great weather (cool and clear) and spending time with friends/family. It's Thanksgiving weekend so I need to deal with food I don't want, but the dessert is always welcome!

Egg wannabes?[/QUOTE]
egg wannabes are egg beaters with spinach and mushrooms, topped with grated cheese.  It's my nickname for an old SouthBeach diet recipe.

Egg wannabes ... I think I'm wannabe hungry. I don't know. I'm confused. I've been sleeping a few hours on, staying up for a while, etc. so my rhythms are totally out of whack.

Hi team... way to kick some Ghoulie butt on the posting!

You guys are impressive.  Just a quick drive-by for me.  Having a sensational weekend... weather's perfect, celebrated my wife's b-day with a lovely dinner out (no kids!) last night and managed to get in a walk/jog yesterday and a bike ride today.

PLUS... the PHILLIES will close out the Reds tonight in the NL Division Series and the Eagles are playing tonight also.  Does it get any better than this???
