I bet they both would get wings on their feet if she was in front of them |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies HMs and margaritas I am going for a run then go to the "semi-wild women's night" at a local winery. My friend makes soap and they are having "spa night" for businesses to promote their spa products... makeup, soap, massage, etc. She wanted me to go with her. I am ONLY going to be a supportive friend. I am a giver like that |

Supposed to be low 40s, 90% rain, and 11 mph winds. Could be worse; could be a whole lot better. Low 40's and rain = treadmill run Today's run turned into swim laps instead. Run should happen tomorrow. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies HMs and margaritas Well hello there. Yesterday was STRESS from 4:00 am until I went to bed. It picked back up again this morning. I ended up taking a day off of work today because my internet was down and I couldn't work from home, and they were calling for snow/sleet/freezing rain today and I didn't want to drive in it. I was on the phone 6 times with my ISP about my broken internet. The problem was on their end but they told me they'd have to send a technician out to my house. He came out, gave us a brand new modem, and still no internet. He checked some things, went into the central site, and guess what there was a bad card on a switch. I don't know how a frickin' ISP doesn't know that there is a bad piece of equipment, I start getting alerts when my network equipment fails. My internet is back now so that's good. They sent me a customer satisfaction survey and I was NOT kind. |

But there is enough rain to think about laps in the street! Today's run is not going to happen either. I have the day off and was going to run Hanna for a couple of miles and end up at the vet for her shots and then run home again. Rain and wind was too much this morning, so I just had her chase the ball for 15-20 minutes then drove her to the vet. They suggested that she not run until tomorrow which is okay with me looking at the weather. Probably won't be any weather better tomorrow but she will feel better. She is sleeping now. She has gained 10 pounds in the last six months. She is not overweight but is starting to fill out now that she is over two years old. Not quite so lanky looking. She now weighs 80 pounds. |

Yeah, her mom weighed 80 pounds and her dad weighed 100 pounds. Neither one was even close to being overweight. |

It is bright and sunny out today, and at 43 it's the warmest day we've had in weeks, and I'm at work right now. I got called in due to an equipment failure. I was 5 minutes away from walking out the door to walk my 4.2 mile loop when the phone rang. Hopefully I'm out of here soon and can walk it this afternoon.

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies HMs and margaritas So, Hubby and I both have kilts (mine is a mans kilt as they did not have any women's dress, as they call it, onhand.), a B&B reserved in Raleigh, and registered for the Kilt run & 8K. Robin, we will have to plan where to meet up. We are going to drop our car off at the B&B which is about 1/2 mile from the race start. We are hoping to be there by noon. Thinking about driving to Asheville area Friday night and visiting my sister, then driving the rest of the way to Raleigh on Saturday morning. Edited by kns57 2013-02-24 2:40 PM |

You know it takes about 4 and 1/2 hours to get to Raleigh from Asheville? You all would have to leave pretty early to get there by 12 and race ready. We are going to Durham Friday night and drive into Raleigh sometime probably about noonish. I will have my cell phone and so will Jim so we can hook up before the race. What tartan did you get? |

I couldn't really swim because of my shoulder, but I ran laps a bit. I'm getting the injection in my shoulder today so hopefully in a few days I'll be as good as new.

That can be the only explanation for all of this. (I know, I know, Dee you called it last summer). I am stubborn though. I wanted to plant shrubs yesterday and had a fever instead. Too much of my life has been stolen being ill the last 2 years. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies HMs and margaritas Ann, glad you got to get some pool time in. Hope the injection helps with the shoulder. Robin - Frank got the Irish National and I got the Stewart. The Stewart was the only one in the inexpensive kilts in my size, so not much choice. We are thinking of maybe getting kilts made in what Frank believes is his family's tartan from the research that he has done. Or rather get him a kilt and get me the dress. You should have heard the conversation between me and the lady there regarding dress and skirt. I was just wanting to be sure that what they were calling a dress was not the same as what the US calls a dress. Too funny. |

Gosh Darn It! But I will admit it was not as bad as it has been, so that it good news. Will try the elliptical tonight at the gym. |

Go and get that done. It is always fun trying to decide each year whether or not it is allergies for illness causing certain symptoms. But once you get it figured out, it will make a world of difference. |
