I guess it's one of those things I should have done a long time ago and save money (even though interest rates are lower now than they almost have ever been the last 5 years). But that kind of stuff is stressful and takes so much work, I just didn't look into it. But since she did. But now her name is going to be on the house and before it was ALL MINE! Oh, and she talks about moving to LA, I get nauseous just thinking of the time/work/expense. She has no clue. I think it would take 10-15k EASY to move everything in the house. I guess you go over a list of things to just buy again instead of paying to move them. OR have to pay for storage. She looks at the dream, I look at the details. Her view is fun, my view is painful/nerve wrecking. |

Her view is fun, my view is painful/nerve wrecking. Redoing the mortage is the best way to fix that on the deed. It was crazy expensive to add Susan to my deed when we got married. But when we sold that house and moved, we did the co-ownership. We even had to apply for a new mortgage, file with the city, title search, all the crap and costs even though I already was the deed holder. Nuts... |
