Can't wait for that drive across South Dakota! It will truly be a test of our family's compatibility. I'm trying to figure out if it's better or worse than the drive across Nebraska. So far I think it's slightly better just because there's some mountains in Western SD. Yellowstone is fun, but there's a lot of driving there too. I think we cranked out almost 400 miles just driving around the park over three days. Make sure you bring your running shoes. Running at 8000 feet is a trip. :-) Was thinking about doing some trail running. Being from the flat lands of MN, it should be very fun. Whish I could fit my bike in the car; but I would have to leave the kids at home.............hmmmmmmm. |

I've done the Omaha-Sioux Falls-Rapid City drive a few times and it's just as, if not more, boring. But you can stop at Wall Drug and the Corn Palace and a couple other well-advertised sites along the way. I would recommend it. |

Master 1441 North edge of nowhere | Subject: RE: TAN #144 Bring your sexTANt and steer by the stars. Hey y'all. I'll assume Ms. Yanti won't be seeing pyrotechnics tonight (note: I didn't say you wouldn't have "fireworks", totally different context), as with those outside of the U.S., but the rest of us should have some entertainment tonight. I'm looking forward to drunken rednecks lighting this drought-afflicted region on fire with their fireworks. I'm planning on standing on the roof with a hose and a margarita (the GF's favorite drink, and she's mixing tonight). Heck, it might make for an amusing movie poster. |

Hope everyone is having a great day! They let you drink beer at the pool? Awesome! Yea, it is a Lifetime Diamond fitness club. Just found out about the beer at the pool on their website. We pay way too much in monthly fees; but perhaps it will begin to payoff with the beer! I am guessing plastic cups; but I'll take it. |
