REDRUM  REDRUM  REDRUM!

Morning Cop.

Why you wanna murder?

Voices in my head.  Actually in a computer class all day (boring).

Uhh... Should we report you for that?  I mean you do carry a firearm all day long...

If reporting me means time of work while my head gets examined by all means report me please.

i finished the last harry potter book this morning and feel incredibly let down.  what do i read next?  i have a pile at home to work on, including re-trying the girl with the dragon tattoo and starting game of thrones...guiliani's book on leadership...the revenge of geography...or should i start learning some italiano??

I started on the Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire) series at the point where the series left off.  It's pretty slow going because the show already hit the first several chapters of the book.

I say we combine the two and it's time for "Harry Potter and the Porcelain Throne"

Hermione meets Sersei.  I think Sersei would make it out of that one alive.

Uddo meets Hagrid.  Hagrid wins.

Harry vs John Snow... hmmm.  I think John Snow would stab Harry, but Harry would turn him into a toad.  Draw.

Dumbledore beats all the Maesters put together.

eggnog spell backwards is gongee - very similar pronunciation as Ganja.

Coincidence?

Not me.  Love the book and want to see the movies.  BUT, I'm not sure if I'm ready to invest in another 3 years of waiting and such like LOTR.

It's a BIG book.

But, yes, it's 3 movies.  It looks to be every bit as epic as LotR, too.

Saw it opening night. It was good, not great. Didn't much care for how they took Radagast's character.

It's split. 1st movie ends right before they meet Beorn. Second movie is the rest of the book I assume. Third movie should be "new" material. (Probably Aragorn's stint in Gondor/Rohan and the search for Gollum if I were guessing)

If you watch it, see it in 48fps 3D but not IMAX (as it wasn't filmed in imax)

The 48fps is really interesting. Worth watching it just for that.

I'm a big fan of the 3D stuff.  That's why you go to movies.  To be wowed.  Unless it's the Alamo Drafthouse.  Which is an experience unto itself.

I'll be seeing Django Unchained on Jan 5th.  (first weekend day back from being home with the Family.  Need something to look forward to.)
