While I was happy with the progress I made over the 20 minutes I spent in it.......I'm pretty sure I drank about 3 gallons of water. Hoping its worth the stomach full of chlorine. Anyone else have this problem or have any tips?
As a swim instructor i tell all my clients , they needs to rotate a little more on the side. Not just turn your head but your ribs as well. Might sounds weird but almost guarantee to work. Hope this helps. By the end of the set I was really trying to rotate my body more, and it was starting to help. This is pretty much the reason I wanted to start as I know I dont rotate as much to that side all the time. I can tell because every now and then I catch my left arm dragging through the water on recovery. Thanks for the advise, I will definitely try keep this in mind the next time I work on this. No problemo! also are you doing every other breath? or just left side? Its all about muscle memory. try every 3 breaths once you get it down. also you will feel your ribs extending forward if your breathing correctly. |

Veteran 419 clayton | Subject: RE: Ernesto's group (5th season) - Closed Goodluck, E! I was thinking about a bike upgrade - in talking to the LBS, they advise best VFM is a wheel upgrade. They went on to mention that Mavic Aksium, although not the best wheels set, is great VFM at 300 bucks. Any comments on the Aksiums or other ideas for bike upgrade, budget ~$300? Thanks, Mark. |

I've added a photo below just to show off a lovely morning. In the background is one of the enclosures I do some on my swimming. Botany Bay - salt water. Flat and no wind today, would have been perfect for a swim, but today was bike. Maybe in need to throw some goggles into my handlebar bag for days like this... but then I may never get to work.
