red? white? or rose?

Last night was a red, although I like white too.

well you can come and open and consume any and all whites I have...never really liked chardonays or sauvignon blancs....not really a merlot person either...Cabs only! mmmmmmmmmmmm~ and havent found too many cabs that I dont like!

BTW, I like cabs as well.  Smile  Will be taking one with me tonight for dinner.  NJ has lots of BYOB restaurants....nice.  Liqour licenses are expensive, limited in availability and purportedly controlled by the mob.  Better wine with dinner at half the price.  Thank you Tony!

haha...so what cab you bringing? one of my most recent favorites is called GNARLY and it is really good!

btw...we can bring our own too...and they only charge a corkage fee...usually only $10-$20...I think once it happend to be more then the bottle cost...we totally had fun with that one!

Tonight's wine is Louis M. Martini Napa Special Reserve.  Terrific wine for about $30 - less if you get a case discount.  Worth it to stock up on.  We are going to a "dive" Italian joint tonight.  Should be fun.

Will look for Gnarly next time I'm shopping for wine.

Good Evening Ghoulies!!!

I had to do it in two short sessions today but I am up to 78.1% complete.

I had hoped to do more, but after not really eating or drinking anything the past 2 days I just couldn't do it.

I'll make up the extra half mile on Sunday's long run.

Have a good evening Ghoulies, I have pages and pages to read to keep up.

GHOULIE QUESTION NUMBER TWO:

WHAT GHOULIE-RIFIC ACTIVITIES DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THE WEEKEND?

Laundry and trying to convince a couple of short people to clean their rooms.

Yeah, that sounds like my weekend plans, except that one of the short people is taller than me and has to be bribed.

Luckily I'm 6'3" and 215, so it'll be a while before I'll need to bribe the kids. In the spirit of Halloween, I'd be willing to scare some obedience into your kids for ya!

The only thing that scares my teenage daughter is taking her cell phone away and turning off the internet at the same time.

That's funny. My 11 year old doesn't have a cell phone, but the only punishment that makes him sweat is losing computer access.

Tom - I thought I was finally going to pass your run total, but you're still ahead of me, but not by much.

I'll get on top of you yet IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!!

Just wanted to give you a little mental image for the evening.

Enjoy!

GHOULIE QUESTION NUMBER TWO:

WHAT GHOULIE-RIFIC ACTIVITIES DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THE WEEKEND?

Chillin Friday...small run Saturday followed by some yoga...then a 10 mile race on Sunday (Evergreen Pumpkin Run 10m)...That should put me close to 90% done by the end of the weekend.

GHOULIE QUESTION NUMBER TWO:

WHAT GHOULIE-RIFIC ACTIVITIES DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THE WEEKEND?

Supposed to go to a jewelry party one of hubby's employees is throwing tonight--thinking I'll sit that one out. I don't really have any extra $$ to spend on overpriced jewelry, even if it is cute. i think tonight will be spent trying to hire a new babysitter/part-time nanny (nanny just sounds so over-the-top for what it is). Our current one quit this week when her other job gave her more hours.

My son's soccer game in the rain tomorrow morning, then pending another asthma flare we may head out ot one of the local corn mazes and, well, get lost. Or I might just go for a run.

Saturday night, the annual "B!tchy Witchy" party at my aunt's house. In my best witch attire, of course.

Sunday....hmmmm...church... and then possibly an 80th birthday party for my great-aunt, then to a going-away party for a friend of mine who is moving back east. OK, so I don't know that it's technically back east---but it's east of the rockies, so it's East anyways.

WOW. Lots of socializin' this weekend. Hope the hubby doesn't decide he "has: to work, LOL.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday night!

Early night for me.  Hubby and son off to a Cub Scout outing in the morning.  They have to meet up at 7:30 am, so we're getting up bright and early!

No running for me today (planned off day).

Yay for all the Ghoulies who were out there running!  One more week until we claim victory!

That's right Paul, the Ghoulies are gonna get you! Especially if you're running in black vinyl and stilettos.
