Well, off to another day of chattiness? Today there is a chance of rain so I don't know if I'm actually going to take the bike off the trainer and get outside. I do know the day will involve lots of laundry and a few hand of Uno...

Good morning team!  The weather's still annoying me today, even though it's not longer snowing/slushing.

I was going to run, but I think I'd rather go to yoga.  I'll save the running for when it's nicer out this week.

I have to go to a friend's birthday celebration in the afternoon, but I will try to behave myself and not drink too much.

Good morning fellow beasts. The bf and I made German Chocolate cupcakes last night, and I just had a 40 minute run this morning. Even with having to work, sounds like a pretty good weekend.

Cupcakes! Yum!

Hi bEASTies...
Thanks for all the encouragement and inspires.  I'm very, very, very happy with how the half marathon went today.  I didn't hit my goal of 2 hours (partially because I had to stop to pee after the first mile) and also, according to my Garmin, the course was a bit longer than 13.1 miles... I talked to a few other people I saw that had Garmins and they all said the same thing. But I'm psyched about my lap data and left everything out on the course.  Aside from mile 1, mile 13 was my fastest... LOVE IT!

And the weather was freaking spectacular!  I'll write up the race report tonight or tomorrow, but wanted to check in.  Off to the shower and then it's time for softball practice...  But I see a couple martinis in my future tonight... purely for medicinal purposes... muscle relaxer, you know. Innocent

Spectacular race, Bill! Way to go!!

Enjoy your afternoon and, of course, those medicinal martinis...
